Consider my mind BLOWN!!! I am an EA that has worked in C-Suites and retired 2 years ago. The last international company I was working for was just implementing Teams so it was not as dynamic as it is now. What an incredible tool! I certainly hope my former colleagues have received training for all these amazing tips.
Every day a video with quality content... best informative channel on YT.
I've already learned a lot from your videos, thanks! You're doing a great job!
I needed this. Super helpful tips. Thanks Kevin! :)
Thanks for the close caption! I love everything that adds accessibility!
omg, this is actually the best video I have seen this year, thanks for sharing Kevin!
Kevin, we teachers are truly indebted to you. You have no idea how much you help us. I tell all of my colleagues about your channel.
Perfect for all my online classes I have during corona now
Thank you again!! Extremely informative. Thorough, step by step information.
Hi Kev I wanted to thank you for all your tutorials ! I went back to when you started these ,each day I watch them. I'm learning so much .I feel like I'm taking free classes ,except I'm learning more than what they would teach in a paid classroom !Your video tutorials are well explained and ...well your just awesome! Thank you again and keep them coming !
Hey Kevin, I'm a big fan of your video tutorials. They are beautifully made and very crisp. I was wondering if you could make a video on some of the best 3rd party apps within teams especially related to education and student assessment. It would be a big help, thanks.
Wow! I just was saying that I needed a video on this!
Just wanted to let you know that your channel is awesome. I work for a very large organization and we have a dedicated team that supports MS Teams, but I find your videos to be more helpful than most of the training theyâve put out. Keep up the great work!
Awesome Tips Kevin! Iâve recommended all these tips to my clients except for the transcripts, thanks.
Love the ability to post a message to a Channel from Outlook email. Especially since we get the full selection of highlight colors, etc. from Mail which we don't get if we post directly in the Channel's Posts area. Woohoo! Thank you for this.
We just had some Teams Training yesterday as we are early adopters in our organisation. Not everything is available to us yet as they are rolling things out in stages but there are pretty cool features. A good one I picked up was how powerful typing / in the search bar at the top of teams is and also how to quickly send a message to multiple people that you contact regularly.
This was just great! Thanks so much for sharing the tips!!!
Thanks Kevin, it's really helpful to control the meeting with students
This is a fabulous summary of features. Solid help! Thank you!
Adding one more tip. You can have panelist turn on videos, put everyone in the theatre mode seats, share your screen, and everyone sees the same people and all panelists can interact! We also use for group photos and take screen shots. This is great for retirement and end of conference photos!
i like how youtube recommended this after my teacher announced that were using MS teams (yesterday)
My teacher announced my class start at February, we usually when 2019 see zoom, now we used MS Teams
I'm using MS team
Feel you, we started to use moodle....
My teachers announced that the entire school Iâm in is using ms teams when it was September 3, 2020.
We are using MS teams too and i searched it cuz my classmates are switching backgrounds and idk how but now i know
Been working hard on my teams knowledge. Only 2 new bits of info for me here! Great video
I REALLY love the poll suggestion in teams!
Thanks Kevin. I always appreciate your work and ideas, Iâm always learning. Of course v neck t shirts are the way to go!
Thank you sooooo much for updating us on these new features it was really helpful.
Thanks Kevin! I am returning back to work and the whole organization uses this. You consolidated it well in this video.
One useful feature in a meeting is.. the names of people who are speaking appears in bold font in the participant list.. this comes handy when someone with noisy background forgets to mute .. you can scroll through the list and look at bold names to identify the lines with audio coming in and mute if needed. (You can also look at mute icon... but sometimes people may be using mute function from their headset or external audio device instead of using mute function of Teams, and muting them in Teams may cause confusion as they may not be able to unmute as they expected to later). It will be very useful if Teams could sort the participant list according to last speaking so that we can always see the latest speaking (or noisy lines) people names on top.
Kevin,.. thank you! You're an incredible trainer, you anticipate my questions with answers before I can ask them.
Love it...you answered my question about the order of who raised hand first... thank you
Thank You for a good lesson in Teams. I really needed that đđ»
I like how this is recommended to me after my Teacher said to use MS from now on..
Do u know what to do if apply background effects doesnt show
google gus
I like the pace and the flow of your videos and that I can go directly to a chapter if I want. Great production! I hardly subscribe to any channels but yours is so useful I subscribed. Good luck to you!
Your video is very helpful and informative. And I liked the way you presented the tips and tricks for MSTeams, easy to remember and very user friendly, especially for someone like me who's just a beginner. Thanks! Great job, Kevin!
This was really helpful I hope to see other tricks and tips on how to get in and out.
Awesome. I am a huge Teams nerd so I love all these tips & tricks to help our team work better!
It's very clear to understand. I love it!
Hi Kevin - Great tutorial! I have been trying to become more proficient in Teams and your videos are helping so much. In this one you talked about emailing to channels (which I had already figured out on my own). This encourages us to just use Teams channels instead of proliferating emails, but there are times I would prefer to send all Team members an email instead of (or in addition to) posting to a Channel. One way of course is to create a Group in Outlook...but then I have to manage membership there and in Teams too. Can you please explain the best way to accomplish this? From what I've been able to learn online, there IS a Group email associated with the Team when it's created ... but it's hidden by default. So, although I can figure out its address (by going into the associated Sharepoint, clicking on Conversations), if I email anything to that inbox it's not accessible to Team members AND it doesn't go to each of their personal inboxes anyway. It would be helpful if you could explain how to make Group email visible, or why Teams should not want to do that, any alternative approaches you would suggest for easily emailing all Team members, and some examples. Thanks so much!
great material Kevin. You made my another day useful by sharing these tips!đ
Great video! Iâve so many tips that Iâm going to use in Teams
Thank you Kevin, this presentation is useful.
Kevin-
My team of 20, in 4 different countries, all watched this video together on MS Teams :)
Thank you! Will check out more
Excited to have an in-depth video on planner. Learned that itâs less functional in action if the team was created NOT based on a ms group (thatâs a tricky topic and really important!). People do not get email reminders for planner tasks, if there is no backend ms group and you canât add the group later either?!...notifications are needed on the planner tab or something...maybe there are other ways to get notifications in planner? We have people outside the org (guests) on teams too...so would like to learn more about notifications in planner and teams!
I've simply learned a lot from your videos, thanks !
Thank you for saying everything so that those with low vision or no vision could learn, too. Excellent in every way. 0:06
Very useful tips - am trying to get my team at work to use Teams more and these tips will definitely make life easier for them
Thank you so much!
Another Great Video! Can you load polls ahead of time in meetings that you have scheduled?
Great stuff!
I will definitely try and incorporate some of these and try to help mev get organized
thanks Kevin brother, i use this for my online classes
I like this one @Kevin. 20 tips in a video, I'm quite sure every users of Teams will find something useful. I do.
Hi Kevin, great video!
I remember in one of your previous videos, you briefed on how to present slides in Teams. I use that in all my presentations i.e. Upload the slide and present, rather than opening the slide on my desktop in presentation mode and then share. The caveat is, I don't get any presentation controls this way like I get in traditional slide presentation mode. For example, pointer options. Is there a way to do that in the upload presentation mode?
Awesome tutorial Kevin! As always, you rocked it! Now that we are using Teams at home, this is timely, thanks!
Great video, Kevin. Thanks. Regarding recordings. When I am interested in a meeting that I have not (for scheduling reasons) attended. I download the recording and play it back at 1.5 to 2 times normal speed. This allows me to listen out for interesting parts - I find this less demanding than reading a transcipt. I can do it over lunch or some other slack time. (If such a thing as slack time exisits :))
Great stuff! Thank you!!
Love this video. Thank you. I was hoping there might be a feature in teams to schedule a limited number participants in a meeting. We are using teams for our class and we have special guest joining us. I'd like to have the students sign up for these session but there will only be spots for 10 students. Is there a way to do that? or to use a third party tool to do that?
Hello Kevin! I have followed your videos for quite a while now. And I have to say, that your videos are great! Straight to the point and well explained.
Do you plan to make a video on Sharepoint?
Great tips Kevin! Thank you! Would be cool if you could add a task from a teams message. Kind of like flagging an email.
Kevin your videos are giving me joy
AMAZING! thank you!
Good advice and easy to follow. Thanks for the tips!
It's really helpful. Being a KI on Teams for the last 9 months, I think I found it quite late. Though some features are not working on our version, I was really excited about the attendee's list and transcript, I do not have access to them.
Thank you for this video. This helped a lot. Also the quality and the speed of talking is really great.
One question to you: where to store static information in Teams? I have some info that anyone should be able to find again. I thought about not allowing someone to write in a channel, but this is not possible as far as I know. Do you have some options you can show? Thanks
Great stuff! Thank you very much and all the best to you!
Hi Kevin. Just watched my first tutorial and will make sure to follow many more (excellent stuff!). Question: I use the Mac Calendar (not Outlook). Is it possible to plan a meeting using a Teams invitation from this calendar or only from the Outlook one? Thanks !
Thanks Kevin, excellent video as always
Thank you sir. You gave me a very good information about the Teams which I didn't know. Thank you

Do we know when the ability to superimpose my camera image on top of a presentation (or other screenshare) will arrive?
This video is amazing. I just found out about you last night and already watched all your videos. Your hilarious.

Live captions...In a sense = innocence LOL great vid and straight to the point! Can't wait to flex on my coworkers LOL I will be sharing this video!
Love your Microsoft Teams Tips & Tricks!
Great video Kevin, just what I needed. I hope you can do more on MS Teams Live Event for multiple presenters if available. Right now, the only thing we do is feature the content plus the speaker on the side. However, it would be great if we can add another presenter side by side for Q&A portion or just for the purpose of doing a sign language. Thank you.
Very helpful video. Thanks Kevin!
Kevin, always great and informative videos. Can you help with possible reasons for participants keep getting removed from a teams meeting? My son connects with his grandfather along with another student for some mathematics lessons over teams meeting and most of the times one or other participant is getting removed from the meeting. All the participants are in different timezones and this issue takes away a lot of valuable time.Appreciate your help on this.
Thank you for this video! My company is moving to Microsoft Teams and this very informative!
