I just got my visa B2 approved 🎉 it took only 2 minutes and consular asked me 5 questions mostly related to my work, reason why I want to visit and if I know someone in usa.
My advice: be confident and don’t make lots of documents ready as there is no reason for.
I wish everyone good luck with their visas ❤
Wahoo! Thx for sharing!
What were the questions and you answers? What else what visa interview like?
Please what questions were you asked?
As I mentioned earlier the questions was mostly related to my work.

Hi good day. I am from the Philippines and I wanted to ask if for example I apply for a Tourist visa to visit my fiance boyfriend who is a retired Marine, will I be rejected on the interview if I say I want to see my boyfriend and be with him for 90 days and see the beautiful country of the United States Of America. Will that count in the interview? It's my first time and I am already nervous that I might be rejected. I hope you reply soon and thank you so much. I am glad to know that you made a CZcams explaining this and helping others. Thank you also to Mr. Ben. God bless you both

My visa was granted today after 3 refusal...prior to my visa interview..I watch ur videos for days
wow i was refused 2 times but i want to go for a cyber security conference i am a cyber security professional and hopeful
At what intervals did you apply... I applied twice in Nigeria 2017 and 2019 and my 3rd application was Jan 2024, all refused. Thinking of appearing again before the end of 2024.
🎉🙌 oh wow! Congrats! Thanks for the great update! Please share how it went. Where was it? What visa? What were the questions & your answers?
@chaiandcoaching 3rd application is in the UK. The first two in Nigeria were for conference. While the 3rd was a visitors/tourist visa. Asked why I'm going to the US, my job, and my family, then asked why I'm travelling alone when I have my family with me in the UK, which I answered and gave my reasons. And boom he handed me the rejection letter.
My US visa interview was in kingston jamaica
I answered all my questions correctly but still got refused, so I personally asked the visa officer why she refused my application, she didn’t mind and called the applicant.. I think if you refuse an applicant state the reason through an email like what the British consulate does.
Very sorry to hear that! What were the questions and your answers?
This is also one of the biggest question i have in my mind. Why they don't provide specific reason why applicants got denied. Eveytime u asked they just gonna tell you to read the blue paper but not telling you exactly why you got denied. Don't know exactly what to correct.
@@jojzsiako3483 that would be nice, but it would take more time and then people would want to debate/argue.
VO’s have lots of interviews to get through every day
It’s your job to convince them, not their job to tell why you don’t get approved. At least that is how it works.

It been five years but I still remember as if it was yesterday. After taking my passport.

Third question: Are you married
Replied: No plz
Four question: For how long do you intend staying in the USA ?
Replied: 14 days plz
Fifth question: who is sponsoring your trip ?

Sixth question: your visa has been refused 😢😢

I got a 3 year ban after overstaying by 182 days during lockdown. I am listening from the Philippines
Oh MY God! You guys! It's just a judgement call and next time it can be a yes.... But what makes you all think that there will be a next time for the person applying for the visa? 😂
This is unbelievable. In some countries the cost of US visa is as much as a month's salary! And the prior expenses that the applicant has already made (say a tourist or a clerkship candidate who has already paid the programme fees that's non-refundable).
Why is it left upto the "judgement" call? And what else could convince an officer if not the proper documents and proof of admission/tickets/receipts/financial statements and assets?
Am I the only one with such concerns?
What concerns exactly?
I'm an American living in the Philippines and married to a Philippina. We were marriedNovember 2023. I want to bring my wife with me when I visit the USA to see my family but my wife was ref noused a visa before we were involved. I invited her to visit as I had become friends with her and her family. I am retired and she owns a working rice farm and has a large family.
What would be best for us to do?
Would it be possible to join her in the interview and explain that we plan on living in the Philippines?

Hello please I’ll like to seek your advice on how to go about my situation ,
I’m refused the American visa on the basis of section 212(a) (6) (c) (i) misrepresentation 15 years ago and I can’t even remember what I did wrong then because I was at time married to someone who won an American lottery and I was his dependent I wasn’t asked questions it was him they asked questions and I was refused based on that, now 15 years after I applied for the visitors visa and I stated that I was refused a visa and stated the reason the Consular refused me again on the basis of the previous refusal does that mean I’ve been banned for life?because all my documents are genuine and I have not lied about anything everything I said is the truth, so please how do I tackle this. I am from Nigeria
No not banned, you can always reapply, but important for you to have plan and strategy for clearly communicating your situation
