@@QuaIityContent you probably wasn't watching WWF at the time Sable was around in 1997-1999. She was getting big pops from the crowds and got a little mainstream exposure outside of wrestling through Playboy.
Being a great wrestler doesn't mean you're a star, just like being a star doesn't mean you're a great wrestler. No one is claiming Sable was one of the greatest wrestlers. She was one of the biggest stars of the Attitude Era.

I agree, but Jacqueline couldn't cut promos, Sherri was dealing with substance issues, and Luna bless her heart had mental and substance issues too. It only left room for whoever could step up at that time. Ivory was hot, but looked older than them all... and well Jackie was a novelty as that 1 black girl too. It's unfair, but they were in the wrong era.

They had a match on wcw that was SO well executed people to this day think that Madusa legitimately knocked Sheri out with the German suplex, but in reality Sheri just knew that normal selling showed that you were hurt, but if she went totally limp people would think she was actually knocked unconscious. And they did! Even “smart” marks think it was legit. Such good working from both of them.

I have been watching 98 raws recently, and without doubt, Sable and her push are downright offensive.
It was the way they glorified her run at the top of the women's division from her shitty matches to her shitty promos and her need to get practically naked to make people forget the things I listed I still remember Vince wasting pay per view time on a swimsuit competition between her and Jacqueline which was nothing but glorified softcore porn.
Ehh it was smart business for the time. She just wasn't worth the push both talent wise and her as a person in general. She was the first real bombshell to ever be in the business.. Sunny was hot but she wasn't porn star hot like Sable was. They just overdid it because both Vince's lusted for her pretty hard. Sunny, Terri, Debra, and especially Trish were much better, Sable was just the pioneer Diva. I do agree on the waste of the title run, she shoulda never been champ. They shoulda had Ivory had her spot.

Ivory and Luna never got what the deserved but that said Chyna, while in WWF, was great, in my opinion. She's one of the few people who I could believe could wrestle with the men in the company at the time. Even the best female wrestlers now, like Becky Lynch, I just cannot buy her wrestling next to someone like Rusev unless they can move like Rey Mysterio.

Ivory was too when they let her dress like she wasn’t Amish and she was definitely a solid in ring worker. Jaclyn was a better worker and more attractive than Sable and I’m not even terribly attracted to Jaclyn in the first place! I’ve seen this argument between Chyna & Sable and it wasn’t on Canadian TV (and I live in Canada); it was on _Late Night with Conan O’Brien._ So either they decided to re-enact the same argument on _Conan_ (which would likely make it a work), or the questioner mis-remembered where he saw it. Or I did!
They played the clip in the above video and that definitely wasn’t _Conan_ which leads me to wonder if they did in fact re-enact the argument on _Conan_ thus making it a work the second time around
