Mae Young helped set women's wrestling a step forward. Moolah set women's wrestling back two steps.
Thank God Moolah had no sway in Mexico and Japan where women's wrestling thrived and evolved, especially Japan. When they would have American female wrestlers (almost all of them trained by Moolah) facing Japanese female wrestlers at WWF events like Wrestlemania, there was a very noticeable difference in quality between the two.

All we know about New Jack is that he stabbed a few dudes and gave a few receipts and says he's done a lot more than that (but he's a wrestler so obviously it's a work) - Moolah destroyed the lives and careers of people with potential and passion for the business. People who stepped into the ring with New Jack were already fucked to be in that situation to begin with and let's put things in context, New Jack isn't even the 100th wrestler to stab some dudes in the ring and not even in the top 500 for beatings. He's just the only wrestler to actually make that part of the business his gimmick - that's the Cornette magic rubbing off on him I guess.
