Tiramisu Authentic Italian Recipe
Ingredients
300 g (10,5 oz) SAVOIARDI LADYFINGERS
500 g (1,1 lb) of mascarpone cheese cream
5 medium eggs (5 yolks and 4 egg whites)
100 g (3,5 oz) of sugar
300 g (10,5 oz) of coffee (better if espresso or moka)
2 tablespoons of rum or MARSALA (optional)
unsweetened cocoa powder

I once had Tiramisu as a child and was so hyped up on it (maybe the coffee) that I entertained my family for 2 hours singing them all my campfire songs 🥰😋😘

This is just what I needed to hear today. My mother was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and is going to go on hospice at our house. I have a lot to get ready for her to move in. I want to make my back yard really pretty for her. I need to cut back some trees by our pond and put in flowers on our deck. I want to make my yard pretty for her as this will be her last summer. She loves bird houses and feeders so I am going to put up some cute and colorful bird feeders all over on our property. It is a big job as I am recently recovering from spinal surgery. Thank you for the inspiration!

Oh my God.. Your reunion with Lucas family made me feel very emotional. I guess it is a reminder that not all can be united at this dire times. Also, it felt so rewarding that you finally could hug, meet and touch again! You are so worth it, especially after watching the videos where your familys told us they needed you home. And now I am crying again! Beautiful Sara and Luca, i am so happy for you and your family! I love what you are doing in the garden, love the Geranium (we call them Pelargon) and they are my favorite flower of summer. Thank you, you guys are so genuine and lovely!
Sara and Luca, I don't know what I like more, your travel videos or your house in the majestic mountains. I love the way you both work together and the love and positive feelings you constantly exude to each other and everyone around. Luca, I love seeing your family, they look like such wonderful people. " Day in the lives of Luca and Sara" living on "Lucky Land." Lot of great content A Botany lesson (study of plants and composting), ophiology (study of snake), language lessons, a cooking class (yummy), and of course , how to delivery a charming, adorable video. These two are the most uplifting couple to watch. Enjoyed lots.
Gardening, eating tiramisu (& not getting fat!). Lucky Land is Eden.
My dad would use a sturdy tree branch with a V or fork in it, cut the ends of the V down so he could trap the head and then pick them up, we would get full grown snakes around us and we also had a creek just below our house, if it was a black snake he would take it out to the far end of the woods and let it go but if it was a copper head or cotton mouth he would kill it, most snakes will avoid people but when they are full grown and come out in the open near your home they have to go. If you sprinkle sulfur around it will keep them away from those areas. Awesome seeing Luca's family! The Tiramisu looked delicious. Love you guys 💕
I (Luca) use the exactly same technique your dad use to! Here in Italy snakes are protected so we can't kill them.
The visit with Luca's family...the hugs...oh how I long for such a reconciliation with those dear to me. We're not there yet (in southern Ontario Canada) but I hold the vision in my heart. Thank you for this wonderful video:)

Both make me remember my childhood when my uncle took me with him during the holidays to his native village in Lombardy in the mountains. I remember playing near the river and my encounter there with a snake who was in the water near me ....

Wow! I heard it for the first time in years! Scopa! I played it for the first time when visiting family in Italy and Belgium as an 11 yo. Coming back home to the US we didn’t play, I wish that I had brought back a deck with me. Just hearing someone exclaim ‘Scopa!’ brought back a spark of memories! It’s amazing how a word can do that. 💙

Sara, I lived in France for a couple years in my early 20’s. My first experience with escargot was mind over matter... only then to discover how wonderful it is. I ordered a plate full while in Paris 3 years ago and is the reason I’m thinking of going back for another visit. If you can bring yourself to harvest some out of your garden and study a good French récipé for preparing it... your audience will go wild watching you guys with a new, adventurous experience.

Something that some people do in my part of Canada is they scatter thyme seeds on their small Lawns and just let the thyme grow you can mow over it with your lawn mower at a high setting just don't mow it once it's flowering and it turns ugly lawn into a beautiful lawn in next to no time

I TRIED THE RECIPE: finally made the Tiramisu because I randomly found the Italian Lady Fingers! So good, so easy to make. I split my batch into two, one with the alcohol and the other with plain coffee.

I live with my 90 year old dad and he loved the Tiramisu! We did the same thing as you were doing with Lucky Leaw when I was a kid in the 1970's. My dad shipped his truck and camper when he was stationed overseas and we went everywhere in europe to the campgrounds.
ALSO the recipe makes A LOT so I was able to share with all our neighbors.

I used to plant marigolds directly among the plants in my garden - great bug repellent along with the geraniums.
