What do you think will happen in Chain of Iron?
I’ve been pondering this for a while... BUT. In goblin market and what you were saying about sisters and giving up your life for them... who do we know was going to have a sister.... Matthew Fairchild (it’s hinted at in GotSM) and so I think he’s going to go with Christopher (or alone), see the faerie and kill her. This is obviously a violation of the accords, which he will be then put on trial for. To explain why he killed the faerie, he will have to come clean about -SPOILER-
what he did to Charlotte (ie: killed his unborn sister) thus putting him on trial for murder/manslaughter, and also a serious violation of the accords. Therefore this may put him in a position to get his marks stripped, but I don’t think it will happen right away. I think there’ll be a big thing of drama that’ll postpone his trial to the end of the book and then we’ll all be in ✨pain✨ It’d also be a bit of cruel irony that instead of protecting his sister, Matthew killed her, so Cassie can just shatter our hearts again

I can’t even entertain the thought of Matthew getting his marks stripped omg!! He hasn’t done even half as much as the shadowhunters in other series. I mean clary legitimately requested jace be brought back when she had one chance from raziel, Simon, Alec, Isabel and Magnus raised Raziel just to get jace back lol. Those have to be larger offenses than accidentally poisoning your mom. I hope! But I know Cassie is sort of an eye for an eye type of writer.

I’m wondering if there will be the same consequences in the wicked powers from Ty attempting to raise livvy. In the end of forever fallen it said something about the sky turning bronze, and then it said “bronze to summon wicked powers”
Not to mention the epilogue in the lost book of the white!!

I think for chapter 7, tread lightly, that it's either going to be something to do with Lucie evading higher authority in her ventures to bring back her dead " kind-of boyfriend" or a chapter with James in which he is starting to suspect that he possibly committed homicide as a possessed person.

I keep coming up with random theories for chain or iron but another one popped into my head is that Grace blackthorn isn’t actually grace Cartwright and she’s pretending to be her. I mean maybe it’s a parallel to the whole Sebastian thing in TMI
And Christopher ends up with her cause on the family tree it does say Grace Cartwright and not Blackthorn that ends up marrying him
