Salmon with Pomegranate Molasses Recipe | Perfect for Any Time of the Year!

  • Hey everyone! Today, I'm sharing an amazing recipe for Salmon with Pomegranate Molasses that I made earlier this year. Even though some time has passed, I'm sure you'll love this delicious flavor combination!
    Salmon with Pomegranate Molasses
    1 whole filet of salmon approximately or as much as you want
    Olive oil
    Smoked paprika
    Salt
    Pepper
    Thyme
    For the pomegranate molasses
    4 small pomegranates or 2 large ones
    1/2 of cup maple syrup or brown sugar
    How to prepare:
    Season the salmon with pepper, salt, smoked paprika and thyme. Set aside. Let’s prepare the pomegranate molasses. Remove the seeds from the pomegranate into a large bowl of water then strain it. Pour into a blender and blend it. Strain one more time into a pot and add the maple syrup. Mix well and cook on medium until the liquid reduces to half. Pour the pomegranate molasses on top of the salmon and decorate with pomegranate seeds.

    Salmão com Melaço de Romã
    1 filé inteiro de salmão aproximadamente ou a quantidade que desejar
    Azeite
    Páprica defumada
    Sal
    Pimenta do reino
    Tomilho
    Para o melaço de romã
    4 romãs pequenas ou 2 grandes
    1/2 xícara de maple syrup ou açúcar mascavo
    Como preparar:
    Tempere o salmão com pimenta, sal, páprica defumada e tomilho. Reserve. Vamos preparar o melaço de romã. Retire as sementes das romãs dentro de uma tigela grande com água e coe. Despeje no liquidificador e bata. Coe mais uma vez em uma panela e adicione o maple syrup ou açúcar mascavo. Misture bem e cozinhe em fogo médio até que o líquido reduza pela metade. Despeje o melaço de romã por cima do salmão e decore com sementes de romã.
