Hi there, have seen so many ways on how to dress up envelopes, but you have yet another style. That is what makes journaling such fun. The creativity is never ending.
Prepping your things ahead of time is much appreciated also appreciate your down to earth approach with no stories about your private life or ramblings that comes to peoples minds. you must be a very efficient and organized person thank you very much
LOVE IT!!! I really appreciated how everything was pre-cut, inked, etc. It fast fed us the information which is important as a number of us are really limited in the time we can watch the tutorial. Please keep your creativity flowing. This was inspiration and practical!
Thanks for creating and inspiring, and for keeping the video under 20 minutes! Your prep work off screen is appreciated! 👍😊👍
Thank You for the very organized video. Love your project. Some awesome dyed papers you cover up, but I also love the how you've used them. Fun coffee break for me.
What a wonderful book. Watching you and seeing all the pretty papers gave me the idea of making a few of these, creating all the tags the tags, and write on the back of each one, special notes for some special friends and my two daughters. Sounds like fun to me. Thanks for the great idea using multiple envelops. You explain everything well and have a very nice voice. Glad I found you.
Best video I've watched in awhile. Very informative, pleasant to listen to without the chit chat nonsense. Great product and so well taught. I cat wait to make one. Loved it, you are awesome instructor. FABULOUS
Love the base file folder idea!! Thank you for sharing!!❤

I am going to make this for my sister! Beautiful. And how nice to see you in person after conversing with you on your Etsy store! Belated Merry Christmas and my wishes for a happy and healthy 2021!!!
Thank Anna, I really really enjoyed watching you create these multi pockets folio. It’s really awesome and stunning too, and yes I really can see me creating some of these. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Love this Anna, so quick and easy, but looks great 🥰
Love this, the best video for ease and style I've seen on these! I would make that into a stand alone journal with more surprises inside. TFS * L
I love how you work and explain. Thank you for sharing❤
Love your file folder! Have not seen this technique before. I am a newbie and getting ideas to start soon. Thank you!
Love that idea , I have seen gayle make it and 2 others , gayle did the envelopes sticking down exact same as you but couple other put the envelope flaps direct on front not on back page , in the end it dont matter cos its all covered up , n you made it look so more more easier to make , thank you alanna
You have my everlasting thanks for pre inking your papers. Thank you so much. All that distressing and inking on other videos plus the inane personal chatter is really starting to trigger me. you have a forever subscriber here.
I've watched a couple of your videos. They are great. I love your ideas. It always looks so kool. Of course I had to subscribe!! So I'm watching!!!
A very wonderful idea. I will definitely be making this. Thank you for sharing!!
Found your digital kits today thanks to Gayle so I looked for a channel too. Love these. I was glad you caught the oops wrong glued spot. We all do it! Glad to see I’m not alone
We do all have those glue mishaps, don't we?! Ha ha!
Love the design of this folder!!! For the sticky part on the very back...if you have an embossing powder bag, you can rub that on the sticky part and it should make it not sticky anymore. 😀
I really enjoyed this video, I love the assemblage !,❤️. Thank you!
I also appreciate that I and didn’t have to watch you cut paper and fumble through measuring.
Thank you for showing this. It looks awesome AND completely doable! I am starting mine .....now!
I love that your tutorials are quick and right to the point. Great job! Beautiful work! Tfs🤗
Yes, yes, yes! I just love flips and flaps of any kind. Beautiful paper choice. Look forward to see the next step. 👍🥰❤️
Really cute and love the patterns & colors you chose!!
Very cute and you are right about the flippy things being addictive! LOL! TFS the inspiration!
Thanks for this helpful video! I do like watching people doing every step. But certainly you included all the needed steps.
I will be watching many more of your tutorials. Thank you for being so professional. 💓
Very nice folder. The paper looks stunning!!!
This is so pretty! I know what my next project is going to be now. Thanks for the great video! 💕
So many fun ideas I hadn’t seen before. Thank you for the ideas
I like this project. Nice work. 👍
Love it! After I tried this kind of envelope folio I learned not to glue the fold of the envelope so close to the side .. after putting in a tag or paper it would lift up and be too “poofy”! Lol I saw on another video where they suggested you leave about an eighth of an inch space from the fold of the envelope .. helps eliminate the poofiness! Love your papers! Too cute! Ty
Thanks for the info…I’m a newbie & I appreciate your reminder 💜
This is so adorable! I’m hooked! I would like to start making these as gifts, after I get the hang of it. Could you please add a link for the video where you start using it and attaching journaling cards or whatever? Extra papers, etc.? I’m dying to see how this grew & turned out.
You make complicated simple! Love this and yes, I can see wanting to add one more envelope Lol!
Cheryl Rymer Thank you! That is so thoughtful of you to say! ❤️❤️

Lovely!!! May I ask, how did you achieve the circles pattern on your coffee dyed papers/file folders/envelopes? Love your projects! a new tutorial, perhaps?

I really love this!
Yes it is suer cute. Thanks for sharing.
Think it would make a great gift as is.
Oh my goodness I am so excited to make this! And I need to buy another kit! LOL. And I just found the Scribner radio music book off of eBay for 6.50! Free shipping I am so excited! Do you know the entire library of those is like $75? I bet you got a way better deal?
I did one like this before but a bit different. Can't wait to try the way you do it, I would never be able to get mine into a signature. haha
Ha ha! I get that! My journals always seem to end up extra chunky! 😂
Just found you today! This is so adorable!! New subbie 😊❤
I love this so much and keep rewatching it. Did you finish it?
Newbie to junk journaling! Adore your vids. Any tips on cutting the paper around those envelope windows? Mine turned out *wonky.*
It’s wonderful that you have pre-cut and pre-thought (and pre inked) all of this so you’re not doing everything while on video. it shows you have a very fine sense of focus and organization. you must be a teacher or an engineer perhaps? Anyway thank you for not jabbering and inking everything while on video I admire your style! ❤️ subbed!
Ha ha!!!! I am SOOOO not an engineer! But I am married to one. Maybe he's rubbing off on me, but I doubt it. I am literally crazy unorganized!
I second that!! Totally an enjoyable video to watch!
So cute cute. Great instructions, New subscriber
Love it!
This is awesome & do I have junk envelopes, What paper do you use for printing It looks heaver than what I use,
I bought your kit, Vibrant melodies and love it. What kind of paper are you printing on to get that nice shine? Love this file folder that you made!
The print shop I went to used a slightly glossy, lightweight cardstock. I actually prefer matte, but it looks great with this project!!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I always feel like I have a lot to learn still!
Such pretty paper
Great tutorial.
LOVE!!!
Awesome tutorial! Could you please tell me what kind of paper did you use? It appears to be thin and shiny. Thank you in advance.
Lovely!!
I appreciate that you preinked. 😉 What is your trick for cutting the paper to fit the window envelope?
Hi Anna. I have just come across your channel. I live your videos!! New subscriber!🤗
Love...
LOVE ❤️ so❤️ much!
Question. How strong is the fold of the flaps as that area will be opened and closed with just the envelope paper. I am talking about the natural envelope crease at the flap. I have enjoyed watching and thank you for your talents.
Pauline Johnston it’s pretty strong but I have seen people reinforce with either washi tape or first aid tape. That would definitely give it some extra strength. Thanks!!
Such fun
Just found you and love this project. I’m curious about the table top or mat you are working on. It seems like I’ve seen several youtubers with the same or a similar background. Does anyone know if that’s an item that is sold as a mat or protective surface? Thanks!
I'm not sure what anyone else uses, but mine is sort of a vinyl cover that I put over my old cutting board! Ha ha! It works....
New sub..thank you for the video!! : )
Happy to have you here! ❤️
Lovely!!! May I ask, how did you achieve the circles pattern on your coffee dyed papers/file folders/envelopes? Love your projects!
I recently saw a pot cover that had all those holes in it. I thought maybe it was used to lessen spatter or to steam buns while the pot is cooking.
She mentions how in the video.
Great tutorial! New Subbie!
What is this super glue you use? Also, wonderful design; I’m in the middle of attempting my first one.
I like Fabri-Tac. Works amazing for me!
Can I ask how you got the window portion cut out on your paper?
Thanks for the tutorial. Very helpful. Would you please tell us the height and width of your folder. Much appreciated!
Hi there! It started out as the standard 11.25"x 9" but I cut off the tab that sticks up. Hopefully that helps.
@@pinkmonarchprints You are so very kind to reply. Thank you so much. Have a wonderful weekend!
hello, just found you today as i embark on my first junk mail into journal journey. i have one question - you went through the effort to coffee/tea stain the envelopes, then you covered them up with the colorful papers. why go through the staining process - couldn't you have inked just the edges and arrived at the same result? Is there something in the staining process that makes it worth the effort? (i don't have much room to deal with the drying phase)
Absolutely! You don't need to dye anything if you don't want to. I just had the paper and enveloped dyed already so I just used them. But you are right.... it wasn't necessary. :)
Very nice
Question: I’m making my first Journal w/a fabric spine. The cover's done & the fabric glued on the spine, however…. I also want to sew around the spine, but whenever I ask Mom to get out the Sewing Machine, she balks at it & why? Because she's too scared the needle will break due to how thick the cover is & wants me to use the big heavy duty one she has for Leather & similar fabrics. I'm balking at that because I'm scared of the size of the hole the needle will leave behind. It's a floral themed Journal, so I don't want any huge hole/stitches on it. That would ruin it.
If I've promised her
I'll go slow & easy w/using the regular Sewing Machine, but…🙄. I converted what was a frozen Mac & Cheese box for my base, then used from a Michael's Recollections pad two sheets of Cardstock w/Lily like flowers in pink, ble & beige on them. One for the front, one for the back. My inside cover…Mom accidentally opened a jar of Canned Beets one night just as I was literally finishing up doing Coffee Dyed Paper. So I put the juice to good use. 😁. So those are my Inside Covers/End Papers. The Fabric's just a Fat Quarter I got from Dollar Tree. So…What do you think? Is all that too thick for our regular Machine to handle or not? Thanks in advance _ Take Care!! 😊
In this video, you referenced a follow-up video to show decorating it...and what to do with the back side. May I know the names of those videos, so I can find them? I'm having trouble locating. TIA!
Thankyou
