    Fabritac clogs were my nemesis until I got a cake icing squeeze bottle with a stainless steel piping tip...put a ball pin in the hole when you put away...never had a problem AGAIN! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS 😊

    That's the coolest thing I've seen with file folders! I wonder if you could double or even triple it!

    Love this idea and have saved your video to my CZcams playlist under “File Folder Projects”. I will definitely be doing some of these. I absolutely love using hanging green or heavy duty (kraft-colored) folders.
    If you haven’t discovered as yet (two years after your posting of this video 😂), the fabri-tak glue can be thinned out by adding a bit of acetone (like that used for nail polish removal) to the bottle and then working the glue until the acetone is incorporated into the glue. I do this by moving the glue back and forth over and over until that happens. The glue has thickened because the original acetone has gradually evaporated over time. I’ve done this numerous times with the same bottle.
    I hope this helps. ❤ 💜 ♥️ your channel !

    If you tie the twine at the top and leave the ends long you can use them as bookmarks.

    Great tutorial! Love that you created the fold onto a file folder to secure your journal pages! Plus the fact that you can add pages, whenever you like.

    This is such a great idea using the file folders this way. I like that the pages aren’t permanent and can be moved around. My husband used to have some of those green file folders when he had his landscape business. I’m going to go look for them.

    This is why I don't buy all those fancy schmancy Rulers and cutter's. Good ol fashioned ruler! Because alot end up using scissors anyways, LOL.
    Great ideas tho for journals!!!!!

    Love it!! Thanks for taking the time to make this tutorial! Easy is good!
    (Also, I’ve seen some folks use sugarbelle icing containers for their glue? It’s a squishier bottle I think. Wonder if that would help get the glue out? If you like the brush, then I say keep using it!)

    • @GinaMakesIt
      @GinaMakesIt  Před 3 lety

      I’m willing to try it...I have some of those bottles here. Do they transfer the glue by just pouring it in?

    • @loreesmith5418
      @loreesmith5418 Před 3 lety

      @@GinaMakesIt Yes. And then add a stainless steel straight pin with a large head to seal the tip. Even storing it upside down in a mug to keep it ready to go. I haven’t done it because I haven’t had trouble with a bottle yet, but am ready to try it if need be.

    How many pages would this hold ? I would like to make this as my first journal but would want more pages . I want mine to be bulky

    • @GinaMakesIt
      @GinaMakesIt  Před 3 lety +3

      Hi Leslie! So, the beauty of this design is that it can hold as many or as little pages you want. If you want more pages, use a longer piece of twine. After you create the cover, prep all of the pages you want. Then, you can properly determine the length of twine that will secure them in. Hope this helps! ☺️

    Just found your channel, have you tried goo gone then dawn dish soap to get fabric tac out of brush. As long as it’s still tacky it usually works.
