Great community with Apollo, Phantom owner for 5K miles, so much fun:-) Their new range of scooters have better hardware and software than the last versions. Of note: "21700 battery cells" are superior on the newer ones.

You really need to consider a removable battery. While the Apollo city is great for commuting, places like NYC make scooter commuting a challenge because no office bike room will allow you to park your scooter due to Lithium battery fire concerns. Can’t have a commuter scooter if you have no place to park them after your commute. Could solve this by making the battery removable.

My GO arrived Monday! Love the portability and the suspension is great! For sure a full step up from the ride of the AIR! Although I have not been able to get the scooter above a displayed 26MPH on flat ground. Now I'm patently waiting for you guys to come out with a dual 750 watt motor

Bought Apollo Pro 2 days ago. The deck rubber is already peeling off from corners. Drum breaks feel cheap quality. Be aware that they don't take returns after you put even 1 kilometer on the scooter.

This is exactly what I’m afraid of… to install the IOT you need to rip the rubber grip tape install then put it back in place, I doubt it will ever stick back properly after that.

Did you reach out to their customer service and ask them for a possible replacement, etc.? as many good things as I’ve heard about this company. It’s surprising that the rubber mat would be peeling off after just one day. That’s crazy. Please keep us updated.

Where can I find out more about the Apollo Phantom V4? It does not seem to be on your website? I'd like to know the differences between the V3 and V4 - and does it have self healing tires now? Thank you.

Love the Apollo scooters although the go is actually more portable than the air and in Europe there are 500 watt limits in some countries meaning the air is the only Apollo option and it’s more expensive than the Segway G2 so be great to see rear suspension and rear indicators on the air aswell as the narrower handlebars and quad lock cock pit of the go.

I feel you, but I don't think the Air needs much change. Once production numbers are up, I hope Apollo is smart enough to lower the price of the Air, because entry level product is gateway product.

Apollo Go took priority in development, putting the Explore on hiatus. I believe this was the right thing to do because the Go would suffice for most people to meet their basic transportation needs. It is also much easier and cheaper to mass produce the Go in large numbers, making it much easier for Apollo to profit!

apollo as every scooter brand (which is really annoying and wish they would stop since you gotta look a reviews for the real distance)
basically the distance they put is if you use the useless eco mode no one uses and are on a perfect road with no hills/winds etc, basically perfect scenario. unfortunatly on average the actual distance is always about half of what they put. its borderline false marketing since no one ever uses eco mode espesially on a scooter like this but technically since you can get that distance its a grey area. although at least apollo specifies eco mode on the front page and on the american website they put 23-43 miles at the top so they did better then most other company
but yeah general rule of thumb for any scooter, half the distance you see them advertise.

Hi Julien, not sure where this info is coming from - we use EVE cells which consistently test above Samsung and LG in all performance tests. Our battery packs are also UL certified.

@@maciekpiskorz7155 The battery of my phantom certainly did not have a reliable battery as it lasted only one summer. And that was a replacement scooter I got from you because my other phantom deck broke in two...
The battery was a chineese no name, I know it because I removed it from deck and even open it to look for dead cells.
As for the phantom in general, I think it's a Frankenstein of a scooter and I am not sure why you guys are still selling it. I mean, just the tire with tube is a nightmare and even if you inflate tires before every ride (which is a pain) you will get a loooots of flats. Just for that reason I would argue that this scooter is not worth it. I mean my first phantom had a flat in 20 minutes after I first got it lol And I was being careful as it was brand new.. I had 1 flat every month, roughly. And changing the tube is a nightmare...
As for your newer scooter, to be fair they looks really cool, reliable and low maintenance, the absolute opposite of the phantom. The only problem to me and why I would not buy those is the battery capacity being too low for the price compared to the competition. As for the battery brand, I have no way to check so I have to take your word for it. But the phantom have no name battery that is for sure. Mine at least!
