  • The one-make Vios Gazoo Racing series has gained quite a strong following in Malaysia. Today, we got to try the official tyres fitted to these cars, the new Toyo Proxes TR1 tyres that now replace the T1R.
    Compared to its directional predecessor, the TR1 sports an asymmetric pattern that is very aggressively designed. Toyo claims 10% reduction in rolling resistance in addition to improvements in wet grip and braking distance.
    For the launch event, Toyo let us try out the new tyres on Sepang driving the BMW F30 3 Series and Honda Civic FC.
    Tyres are priced from RM199 to RM800 with sizes ranging from 15 to 19 inches.

    hey Kon. I know these tyres aren't direct competitors but how would you compare the TR1 to Conti UC6, for use on a Honda City? from a grip and driving feel point of view? thanks!

      @KonWaiLuen  Před 4 lety +1

      I would say TR1 is a more sport-focused tyre, but on a budget. UC6 is quite a premium tyre and is meant more as an all-rounder, my opinion.

    Hi kon, Ill be going out of topic with the video. I am a persona vvt owner and I am currently facing an issue with water leaking into the engine compartment when I pour water on the front windscreen. I have went to my sc and the case was forwarded to HQ but the reply I was given by proton was that this is not abnormal and that the parts are waterproof. Currently almost 8 out of 10 persona vvt owners are facing this issue. Is there any way to solve this issue as the water pours straight on my fuse box, harness cables, on the engine and also the alternator. Thank you and sorry for going out of topic of the video.
