- An Oxford-educated anti-monarchy activist has complained to Piers Morgan that he kept cutting her off during a fierce debate despite the Sky News Australia host telling her she'd done "more talking than any other guest".
"You haven't let me finish a single point Piers," 'No More Royals' activist Riz Possnett said.
"Riz, you've done more talking than any of the other guests - so the words you're looking for are 'thank you Piers'," Mr Morgan said.
"I cannot go back to your notebook - we haven't got time."
In my opinion, if you are against monarchy (and you have every right to be) trying to spoil the coronation day for everyone else is NOT the way to sway people to your point of view.
In their mind the bigger the crowd the more attention they get not thinking it could be seen as domestic terrorism and no one will appreciate the interruption.

What people often forget to mention is the Prince’s trust and the impact that it has had on people’s lives. Charles set it up with his own money and he had dedicated his life to it.

in 2019 the average tax payer contributed £1.24 to the royal family for that entire year which totalled around £67 million. it has increased in recent years with weddings, funerals, coronations etc, but in that same timeframe the royal family contributed around £2.5 billion to the economy with tourism. people travel from all over the world to see them and as far as i am concerned, like it or not we get a pretty good deal out of having them. if it was not for the 2.5 billion they contribute, you can be damn sure that your taxes would rise by more than £1.24 a year to cover the black hole we would have if the royal family suddenly disappeared and in my view THAT is what people often forget and doesnt even consider the princes trust

I do take exception to Morgan’s assumption that because she has won a scholarship to Oxford which is difficult to achieve without working for it, that this means that she should gratefully confirm to the principles of the establishment; university should encourage critical thought which, whether you agree with her or not, she clearly has.
