This is the second interview I’ve watched with this self-righteous young person telling another guest on the show to “shut up”. All while smirking. What an absolute disgrace of a human being, especially for an Oxford student! If the best defense you can come up with in a debate with someone is “shut up”, then maybe you don’t really have a very good argument to begin with. You certainly aren’t going to win people over if that’s how you treat others. I love Riz’s catchphrases : “You’ve raised a really interesting point” or “I appreciate that you’ve raised that point” etc… - she uses these phrases in every interview. Telling people to shut up (in this case, repeatedly) reflects her complete inability to cope with alternative responses. She’s so immature, I’m afraid.
Funny how as soon as she said any of the phrases she was immediately interrupted by the “Lady” who sounded like she had the mental capacity of a late stage dementia patient unable to argue her point at all and instead resorting to interrupting the student so the student couldn’t make a single point. A horse actually got spooked and ran into a barrier and knocked people over - it wasn’t in main footage though I believe. Probably one of her crowd using an alarm, that did it.
My issue is that when the protest disturbs the "Elite" the perps are quickly removed. When the protest is glued to a road disrupting 100's of everyday people trying to struggle through this absolute shit show, they do nothing.
