Bad news is they "improved" the app few days ago and now Planner tasks aren't opened in Planner, but in Teams. But it doesn't open the task directly in desktop app, but via some redirection through web and then in the ToDo app in Teams, so every single opened task leaves opened tab in browser, really handy :( I started using ToDo few months back because it can show all 3 type of micromanagement tools - Planner, flagged mails and ToDo/mail tasks. Hope the ToDo plugin/app in Teams will soon offer Planner's column view and also flagged emails. Or they will give us option in ToDo where to open the Planner tasks. Anyway thank you for your cool insights. They are really valuable 👍

Thanks, yes, did learn a couple of new things (I have been using MS Outlook Task extensively for years and To Do for a little while).
Two questions if I may: How to add existing tasks to a list? How to show a # as a a list ?
Comment: Dark theme is not an option on the web based To Do app, at least not in my organisation.
Comment: I like the ease of To Do but prefer MS Outlook Task for those jobs that have a big history, eg emails, links to documents, etc.

I also wish that when creating a task (when using my iPhone), there would be a list dropdown that would present me with every hashtag, and allow me to select, which tag that I want to select.

Thank you! I like the siri capture setup! #GTD However, on iPhone, the Siri shortcuts for Reminders keeps stomping over whatever I setup for Todo. So I put "Add Task" in Todo for Siri Shortcuts, test and sure enough, it goes into Reminders. I setup "Add Work Item" or "Capture Work Item" to go into ToDo, but no dice on Add Task or Add To Do, the Reminders one jumps up and takes it over. I can't figure out a way to delete the Reminders shortcuts in iOS Shortcuts to give me more flexibility in my Todo Siri Shortcuts. Anyone know how to turn off these Reminders shortcuts?

Hi Kevin, hoping you know the answer to the following... between Google Keep, Google Tasks, MS Lists and MS ToDo... in all the videos I have watched it is usually mentioned that something can be added to the calendar as a "reminder". I find these reminders to be useless. I only see them if I open the calendar. I need an app that once I assign the note a date & time, I'll get a pop-up on my phone either at the specified date/time or upon arrival or departure of a location. So far the only one I have been able to find is the Samsung app "Reminder" but it has a lot of text limitations. Do you know if Keep, Tasks or ToDo has the ability to do a pop-up reminder preferably with an audible alert?

What's driving me nuts is that I have MS 365 and clicking on the Office icon shows To Do there as an app. However, clicking on it takes me to the browser version and I can't see the app in the location where all the other Office apps are. You can't install Office apps separately so I don't want to sit through an entire reinstall only to find it doesn't install it as an app anyway. But then if I go and dig out the app separately will it be the full Office version? This kind of thing with MS products drives me crazy, all the shenanigans with One Note was a right pain in the nether regions.
