Get yourself a set of Soundmagic E80-C buds at 64ohms impedance. Also get a Bass Booster App. Make sure you set the Quad Dac settings on your LG phone... Then play around... You will never look back. Simply Audiophile results. 👍🎶🎵

Thank You for the video! May I add too, LG Quad DaC comes with 3 automatic impedence modes, from standard level 1 mode output intended for basic headphones and earbuds, mode 2 comes up when you hook up to a car AUX port or external speaker, and the highest impedence mode 3, which can drive professional headphones and hardware anywhere from 50-600 oHm impedence, which is INSANE LOL!!! There is a specific app called HiFi Status intended only for LG's quad DaC, which can identity and show you the current mode, but you cannot manually select it. This sux because sometimes you want that extra power, and the only way to trick it, is to use the trick in this video, or you can, like myself, use a simple 6 inch 3.5mm jack extension, which you'd plug in first, only then connect the headphones to it. This way you'll trick the Quad DaC to activate the mode 2 aka AUX mode, that is signifficanlty lauder than mode 1, and has higher dynamic range. Sometimes using this same trick, the phone would actually activate the most powerful mode 3, which is yet much louder than mode 2, and if you were initially listening to music at high volume at 1st or 2nd mode, and you have the mode 3 come on and you hit play, you can SERIOUSLY hurt or even blow your ear drums (I really hurt mine) or blow your headphones. It's THAT powerful. No wonder LG didn't leave it upto the user to tweak this manually, they'd definitely get sued for damages or injuries. I've yet to find a mobile device that has the quality and power behind its oudio output like LG has, that isn't a $1,000 professional audio brick/player only.

Yeah I ended up getting a jack extender solely for when I want to use my tin p1 so I wouldn't end up wearing out the connector on the earbuds

@@SpardasTechReviews Good idea! I still wish I could find an app or something alike to be able to manually switch through the modes! But this works pretty well 😁! 🍻 🍻

I have the P1 plus which i guess are the same of the P1 and are simply amazing, and i drive them with a simple FiiO BTR5 with a good aiderlot pure copper cable and the sound is GREAT, for my modest budget, at least. So now i bought a lg g8 second end at at affordable price to see the burr Brown quad DAC and spare the battery of my other source which is Samsung s10. I did this as to go better than the Fiio BTR5 i believe we needy to increase the budget quite a lot to feel the difference, i mean substantial difference. THANKS I like your expertise and the way you do it. 👍 Have a nice one, cheers

Picked the G8 up, my backup S7 fell and smashed today, I had it running on android 12, i was using it as a player with a aux port, I dont like carrying hefty xDuo Bal2 portable usb c dac around, it is is great that the G8 has a built in ESS Sabre chip and it also has a very compact design conpared to today's standard. Only thing I wonder is if you install a custom rom on the G8 if the Gain option will still be there for the quad dac

Funnily enough I ran in to this on my v40 but thought it was a bug/defect. Lol just to find out it's something that you can just trick the phone in to doing.

Actually there is more than just a volume. There is two modes for internal amplifier chip. In standart case scenarios it works on low amp mode, which is enough for the most in-ear buds and consumer headphones. I use it with Beyerdynamics dt240 and standart mode's volume is enough but.. when it gets to high amp mode thene even in low volume sound get's much more crisp and more dynamic. Where's high volume in low gain amp mode do nothing with sound, it's just more muffled and loud

I believe you can do that with a 3.5mm adapter , just plug the adapter then the headphones and it should do that with any low impedance headphone

put an impedance adapter above 50 ohms and plug in headphones. Done.

Tried, didn't work, the method I showed is easier than buying an adapter that says it's a certain impedance just for it to end up not being that.

Get an extender and put it in first then connect the p1 and then they'll work no problem. That's how I get the g7, g8, and v60 to push the power to them.

Like all headphones it depends on your library. I don't think the p1s are great for hip hop especially the bass heavy kind, but for more instrumental music they work great.
