@@AminNazari666 yes it is. But i recommend using them more for ur phone. Cause there are alot of great settings u miss. Still recommend them though for movies!
@@xbythe8284 I use TWS Edifier NB2 for my phone. I want to find headphone because I only watch movie on 2am onward, so its hard to enjoy the audio of the movie haha. My TWS cannot connect to the tv.

Another difference that many don't care about is that the XM-3 has the sound stage change (arena, concert, outdoor stage, club) and they allow you to manipulate directional audio manually unlike the XM-4. I don't think many used those features though
My reply is a year late, but I own a pair of XM3 and i feel that this feature is really useful. It completely changes the feel of the music and has a massive influence on the listening experience!
Man, I just watched a couple of your videos. Just have to say this, your reviews have a personality, and that made your first video stick in my mind. The only other tech reviewer who's reviews were not generic was JimsReviewRoom, unfortunately he's stopped doing CZcams.

Just bought the XM3 back in April, it was on super sale $100 less than right now. In a way I am super happy that the XM4 is “basically” the same. Grab the XM3 since it is cheaper.
Sony wh1000Xm3 used to change to priority to the connection or sbc when the settings or equalizer were changed. Is it solved now?

Hi Paul! Awesome video yet again! I was quite blown away by the WH-1000XM3 that a friend at the gym bought. I set the app up for him and was immediately impressed by the sound quality especially when I played with the sound settings - Apple seriously need a good sound setting in their music app like this. I instantly from these headphones concluded how both iTunes 256kbps AAC AND Bluetooth can indeed sound INCREDIBLE (using an iPhone 8 which uses AAC on its bluetooth) therefore haters that say that bluetooth sounds bad need to check out these bad boys. Also gobsmacked with the ANC. Negatives where that I didn't like the plastic feel and design to the headphones and I hated the over complicated app. I still much prefer my AirPods Pro simply because i'm really active and prefer the tiny in-ear size but for anyone who loves headphones and is an android user, i'd say these SONY's are top. Can't wait for you to compare these to the Apple AirPods Studio's when they release. No doubt, Apple have these SONY's in their testing labs and are comparing!!!!!!

I have Sony xm3 and Jabra elite 85h, and I’m disappointed with xm3 because the sound is very muddy and muffled with the mid and high, whereas the Jabra is crisp and clear, I hope if the xm4 addresses this issue 😤

2021 February Canadian Winter Update
I never had XM3 to experience the touch control issues in cold weather. But I bought the XM4 and used them for a month before taking them back. I did notice inconsistencies of touch response when walking the dog in cold weather.
Number one issue for me was it felt like they could be louder without sacrificing sound quality. (Given the sound was equally great at 10% through 100% volume) but I felt they capped the maximum volume to maintain battery efficiency just to say "Our battery lasts 30 hours."
I would have been more then happy with 20+ hours and more sound overall.

Great review with amazing editing once again! I agree for the most part, but one thing I am confused about is your XM4's battery life though. I rarely use Speak-to-chat (and if I need it, I'll turn it on and off by holding two fingers on the touchpad, which is a feature most ppl don't know about) because from my experience it does drain a decent amount of battery, but it's still not as bad as daily charging. Multiploint does remain on 24/7 for me though, and yet my battery remains normal. I charge my headphones only once every 2 weeks or so (and they get fully charged after only 1-1.5h anyway) so it's weird that your battery life gets affected so much.
Thanks! I was surprised too cause I know how great the battery life is without the extra features. But when I had every single one of them on, I would get the low battery prompt before the end of the day. I hope they fixed things with an update tho. Try leaving all the extra features on if you’d like to test things and let me know how it performs

I turned on all features (Speak-to-chat, Multipoint, DSEE Extreme etc.) and I went from about 95% to 0% from the last time I commented until right now, so about 12 days. And I do have to say that I wasn't able to use my headphones every day, but when I did I easily used it for quite a few hours. In conclusion, from my experiment I'd say you could easily get at least 20 hours of battery with all features on simultaneously, but it's definitely not the 30+ hours that I get by turning off Speak-To-Chat and DSEE Extreme (I leave Multipoint on). However, you can easily turn on/off speak-to-chat through the touchpad on your earcup (hold with two fingers, I recommend using index & middle and a little bit spread out), so if you know that you won't need S2C for a while then you can save a lot of battery that way. I hope I could help! :)
