    Please do a video on the star rating and government guidelines! I was at Coles and have observed that butter has a very low star rating while margarine has a high star rating. I always use real butter even the Coles brand is good! I ignore the star rating, government guidelines, heart/diabetes association advice. Some things they get right such as avoiding sugar, processed food and excess alcohol. However, they are wrong about saturated fats, red meat and still promote, high carb/grain and low fat dairy. I m 58, eat a lot of meat, eggs, full fat dairy. My weight is normal, I have no medical conditions and take no medications!

      @HealthCoachKait  Před 3 lety +2

      I think I talked about this in this old video 🤗 czcams.com/video/OGFcjLfboYk/video.html But the rating is based mainly on fat. High fat = low stars, low fat = high stars. Saturated fat considered worse 🙄

    A can of sardines mixed with coconut oil and 1/3 cup of non fortified nutrional yeast, with a side of 2 ounces of bakers chocolate, and my fermented cod liver oil. Is my breakfast every morning.
    I also take creatine, leucine, carnitine, boron, a tri-magnesium blend, a high quality tumeric blend, a high quality mushrooms blend, and a symbiotic, with both my meals.
    I also eat asparagus, artichokes, Hazelnuts, olives, capers, flax, psyllium huskfiber, hemp, kimchi, saurkraut, unripe plantains, undercooked cold potato, raspberries, avocado, seaweed, pumkin, pumkin seeds, and much more gut healthy foods to spice things up with every meal.
    My second meal is meat, organs, eggs.
    I also do about 5 cloves of garlic and butter to start it off. I love fresh sage, thyme, and rosemary for spice.

    Hey Kait, a very good and informative video. Thank you! I have question that you have touched upon in the past. We know that many cold water fish provide tons of the good fats (and more), and my favourite is the Atlantic Mackerel. I mostly eat it smoked and I have some every day. Does the smoking process reduce the nutritional value of the fish? Thanks.

    Hey Kait, Thanks for this video! You're so informative I always appreciate your content. I have a friend who is always feeling sick and she's seeing a naturopath who is feeding her pills and probiotic shakes and she says they make her feel even worse but "it must be working if I feel worse" I don't understand this logic! Yet she won't cut out the carbs, she eats bread, pasta, rice, Mcdonalds every day and doesn't stop to think why she is always feeling sick. Can you pretty please make a video on this topic to help not just the obese community but the "skinny fat" people out there who think they shouldn't need to cut carbs just because they don't need to lose weight? Explain why Keto/Carnivore is a health choice and the benefits of cutting carbs. There are so many videos out there but they focus on weight loss so I cannot share those videos with friends without them skipping over it because they don't need to lose weight. Thank you! Keep up your amazing work, side note thanks to yourself and Dr Berry I've lost 16kg since November 2020

    You said there's a balance of pufas between omega 3 and omega 6 needed for low inflammation. Are there other balances needed such as how much your diet is from sat Vs unsat, and how much unsat is mono Vs poly? Could you get away with not having pufas so you don't need to balance them or is that not healthy? I eat barely any pufas and hugely sat over unsat. I feel pretty good when I do that.

    • @HealthCoachKait
      @HealthCoachKait  Před 3 lety +6
