Yooo wen taking the actual shifter off at 2:55 did you not have to loose the bolt on the bottom of the thing cuz I can’t get a tool in there to loosen and you just stuck your fingers in there and started twisting
Yeah so it was pretty difficult, I made this video a while ago but I'm pretty sure I fit a smaller rachet with the shortest socket I had to break the bolt and then loosened the rest with my fingers. Hope this helps!
Did your shifter come with a snap ring? I don't understand where the snap ring goes?

I replaced my shifter but getting into first gear needs pressure is there any fix to that
If it’s difficult to put into first, requires extreme pressure in order to click, and grinds to get into reverse then you have either a bad clutch, or air in your clutch line.
I would recommend replacing the slave cylinder first and bleeding the fluid, change it out and rebuild pressure correctly and see if that helps. SC is about $30 bucks at Autozone and takes 10 mins to put in.
You've possibly overtightened the nut that holds the shifter to the gearbox. I did this once and couldn't enter any gears after a rebuild, loosened it off and it was fixed

Thinking about buying this shifter, how’s it holding up and feel so far? Also eyeing the Z1 shifter
It's holding up great for me and shifting never felt better! Has a nice satisfying click sound when shifting which is a bonus. I was also eyeing the Z1 shifter but decided to go with this one due to it being a bit cheaper and having about the same throw decrease percentage. It's a great choice!
