Yeah so it was pretty difficult, I made this video a while ago but I'm pretty sure I fit a smaller rachet with the shortest socket I had to break the bolt and then loosened the rest with my fingers. Hope this helps!

If it’s difficult to put into first, requires extreme pressure in order to click, and grinds to get into reverse then you have either a bad clutch, or air in your clutch line.

I would recommend replacing the slave cylinder first and bleeding the fluid, change it out and rebuild pressure correctly and see if that helps. SC is about $30 bucks at Autozone and takes 10 mins to put in.

You've possibly overtightened the nut that holds the shifter to the gearbox. I did this once and couldn't enter any gears after a rebuild, loosened it off and it was fixed

Which bolt are you talking about in particular?

Not really, just gotta drop it a bit by loosening the mount from the drive shaft side so that there’s enough clearance for the sensor to come out!

What caused that to happen? My 84z did the same thing.

Just found out that my z was missing the starter bracket which holds the starter and also serves as a spacer at the same time. Maybe that did it for mines…

Hey my clutch was basically gone so this one is much stiffer, doesn’t spin and engagement feels a lot better. The flywheel makes the rpm’s drop quicker so more throttle is required to get going and over all the ride feels way better than the stock setup.

It's holding up great for me and shifting never felt better! Has a nice satisfying click sound when shifting which is a bonus. I was also eyeing the Z1 shifter but decided to go with this one due to it being a bit cheaper and having about the same throw decrease percentage. It's a great choice!

The sensor wasn’t working most of the time and sometimes it would work for about 10 seconds then drop to 0 while i’m driving!

Hey, yeah so the speedometer was not working most of the time but it would spring on and work for literally like 10 seconds and then shut off again for a week. I’ve only experienced it working a couple times but most of my rides it wasn’t working at all.
