Dr Pal,
I have always considered myself to be a very fit person. However, during Covid, I let things slip. I put on some weight and stopped exercising. My annual health check revealed that I had grade 1 fatty liver. Cholesterol was borderline and a few other things went a bit downhill as well. The doctor who reviewed my results downplayed it and said it's not such a big deal.
More than a year passed and I almost forgot about all this. Then, one day I saw your videos on youtube and it changed my life. I felt that when someone is putting so much effort to make other's lives better, can't I put 100% myself to make my own life better? There are 100 things in life that pull you down, and I felt that I should find 1 reason to pull myself up. I started intermittent fasting, avoided junk food totally, cut carbs, and increased protein and fiber in my diet. I joined gym again and exercised regularly.
It has been 6 months now and I lost over 15 kilos. My stomach is as flat as it can ever be. I got all my pants re-stitched. People tell me that I look so much younger. I got my annual health check results a few days back and the readings are as good as I can ever hope for. Fatty liver is gone as well. I have never felt more fitter, and the quality of life has improved significantly. I feel I have so much more energy, and I look forward to each meal :)
More than anything, I would say that it took a lot of unwavering will power to say no to unhealthy food choices and stick to a routine, no matter what. Once I made it a habit though, things became easier over time. Consistency and sustainability are key.
I just wanted to write this to thank you from the bottom of my heart for inspiring me to become the best version of myself. Your advice towards day-to-day health choices is so relevant, relatable and practical. The best part is that you are so light-hearted and positive. I wish you all the success in this world!

I have lost 12 kg in last 6 months. With portion control and 16 hrs fasting. I am one of your crazy follower, I didn’t even taste food while cooking during my fasting window 😅. As I achieved my target now, I’m following 12hrs fasting window. Thank you Dr.Pal for your wonderful videos. Dr thank you for all your tips. I am following it for the past one month and am able to find drastic changes mentally and physically. I really loved your show with dietitian sujatha because you people were even mentioning the number of idlis and dosas a person should be eating. Keep giving advises reg exercises especially for people after 50 for both genders

Doc... most of the fermented foods like dosa or idly batter are being cooked so the end products don't have any probiotics unlike curd ... so what are we looking for in fermented foods ?
