  • The by far is one of my simplest but effective soaps to make. It’s filled with amazing moisturizing properties. Oatmeal helps to soothe the skin and the shea butter moisturize the skin. This bar is also amazing for babies and children.
    Fragrance: Oatmeal, Milk and Honey
    The cool thing about soap making is that a lot of your kitchen staples can be used as ingredients in your soap recipe.

    I am so glad to have run up on your page. You make everything look so simple and not life threatening as a lot of these big soapers do. I was scared to put ANYTHING in my water before the lye, so when you added the titanium I was like what?!?! Thank you! I got a great deal of tips from you. And now I know why my bars are crumbling because I listened to another soaper who said let them sit for three days in the mold. Ugh...

    • @khione8044
      @khione8044 Před 3 lety +1

      @Author Belinda Hunter
      The amount of time a soap needs to sit before it is ready to unmould depends largely on the ingredients used. Most soap is ready to unmould after 24 hours. Others can take 48-72 hours, while some are ready to unmould after only 8 hours. There is no magic # for every soap.

    • @hunterbelinda99
      @hunterbelinda99 Před 3 lety

    • @khione8044
      @khione8044 Před 3 lety

      @@hunterbelinda99 Yeah. You'll begin to get a feel for how soon you need to unmould based on your recipe you are using. Depending on certain ingredients and/or additives used, can affect it. Salt helps to unmould it sooner, but also can hurt lather if you use too much.
