      Me too! I meant to do 24 hrs but was making my son dinner and had a grape 🥹then ate some chicken while I was at it so ended at 21hrs . I hope to nail it tomorrow.

    Doing MON/WED/FRI FAST 3 weeks I'm down 10lbs. Not even hungry on my eat days. I know its water weight, but going to keep going have 30 more lbs to lose. Thanks for your videos!!!

    Gnats and fruit flies. My cousin is a plumber and he said they lay eggs in your drains where is curves. He told me to put a little bleach down the drains followed by boiling hot water. So I do that, whenever I start seeing them. I do that in all my sinks. Try that.

    I also gained some of my weight back, so I restarted ADF yesterday.
    You are absolutely correct, I should have continued fasting one or two days a week for maintenance. Lesson learned. Great video.

    Love the transparency because when you were talking about watching videos or thinking about food I was like I wouldn’t have made it. I practically almost need to sequester myself in my room and not see or smell food until the next day. I’m starting with omad. Once I master that, I’ll try adf again too.

      Funny enough, on my fast days I’m good most of the day but once I think about food it’s all I have on my mind… doesn’t help I work in a grocery store. Anyways to get over it I like to meal plan and come up with new HEALTHY recipes and because I don’t feel right without knowing the basic nutrient facts jot down the calories, protein, and carbs in my creations. By the time I’m done the cravings or thoughts about food are over and I can finish my fast. And half the time I don’t even follow up on these creations.

    I started adf in May for the challenge and just continued on because I find it so simple not having to think of what to eat daily. So far, I'm down 30+ lbs, and at 191 lbs, I feel great until Colleen just said she's 196lbs. Lol. Let me just say that my body does NOT look like hers. Jeez.
    Oh, well. The journey continues.

    Thank you for this video. It’s so funny I have been drinking a little wine this past weekend and Ramen all weekend. I got off of my routine fasting over the weekend smh.     This was me last week, so I totally feel you girl. I did my first full ADF fast day this past Monday after like a month break because I just kept finding myself breaking in the middle of the day, or one day I even made it till like 8-9pm and then broke LMAO. But slowing getting back on the wagon like that help. I also noticed that when my life became less stressful (because I tend to stress eat, I know this about myself), I was able to fast more easily, so maybe you can try removing as many stressors in your life as you can control. Hopefully these tips can help some fellow ADFers too :)

    Girl, you got this. I love doing life with you right now.     I watched your video and I was in the same boat. I lost about 55lbs fasting and I put quite a bit of it back on so I decided to jump start my weight loss by doing a 36 hour fast. Was able to extend it to a 47 hour fast and I feel great. Thanks for the inspiration.

      The struggle to get back is real! I let sadness take over and I gained back 30 of the 40 lbs I lost 🙃
      So far,nice only stopped pigging out, the exercise routine is not back yet....so I count whatever I do in a day as a blessing and a goal towards getting back! We got this y'all! 💪🏾💜

    I have been watching many of your videos and yesterday was day 1 of ADF for me. I aimed to go as long as I could fast on the first day. I felt hungry at 2 PM and 6 PM but made it through them but by 7:30 PM I broke my fast. I will try again tomorrow and aim to go longer until I can do a complete 36 hr fast. I am glad that you are honest about ADF being difficult restarting and breaking your fast and your plan to go for it again. Very comforting to hear it. I don’t know how I will eat double my daily calories on feast day 😮 I Will be stuffed before that.

    Colleen!! ADF does work and I was so happy when I dropped under 200 lbs unfortunately my health took a turn last year 😢 and hard to get back in the groove. I also do 12-3-30 from Lauren Geraldo when I can.

    I have been very inspired by your content. In my recent observation, getting fat adapted is key, but I don't think it can be done by diet alone. I varied fasting over the years and lost weight, but I would put it back on or when I ate something with carbs and I saw the scale go up (because of holding onto water from the carbs). In May I decided to start walking in the morning for 30 minutes. I didn't start walking to loose weight, but to boost my metabolism because I was tired of fluctuating even though I was fasting AND watching my carbs. Walking has been a game changer. Not only can I eat and not fluctuate anymore, it is easy exercise for me. I don't like hard workouts anymore and walking has been more effective at helping me loose weight and keep it off even though I go hard at my favorite restaurant. Getting fat adapted by boosting metabolism was what I was missing all these years. No more struggle.

    Im 20 years old now and throughout high school i was consistently 115-120lbs. As soon as i turned 18 and started feeding myself i lost a ton of weight and ended up around 96lbs when i realized i got super unhealthy. I was lightheaded all the time, i would faint occasionally, had crazy digestive problems, etc. So i started to actually focus on gaining weight and i guess i wasn’t keeping track so i quickly surpassed my previous weight and ended up around 135lbs when i noticed i had gained too much and my stomach was extremely bloated. That was a few months ago and i immediately started paying attention to my diet, weighing myself daily. But I’ve grown so frustrated and exhausted because i can’t stop fluctuating between the same 5 pounds. 134lbs today but i’ve learned that doesn’t actually mean i lost a pound. Found your videos today and i really hope this diet will help me. If anyone has any advice its greatly appreciated ❤

    I'm not an ADFer but I did try the ACV. Thank you for sharing because I never knew ACV helped with regulating blood sugar. On my journey to get my blood sugar under control and avoid meds, I've lost 41 pounds, and rid myself of hot flashes and night sweats (I'm 49). I also changed my diet and I workout regularly but I truly believe the ACV is the star of my show. I was so focused on fixing my internal health issues I didn't realize how fast the weight was coming off. I started mid May.

    I’m really grateful for you and your channel! I found you at the end of May and started ADF in June and I am down 10 pounds! I have plateaued a bit, but I’m not giving up. Thankful for your videos, being real, and all the tips!
    By the way, a tip that might be helpful for you - put a little bowl out of the apple cider vinegar, and the gnats and fruit flies will be attracted to it!

    Put some apple cider vinegar in a bowl, then add a few drops of dishwashing liquid and a little sugar to get rid of gnats. The apple cider vinegar draws them in and the dish liquid traps and kills them. Just let it sit.

    You are not alone girl...I have been on this journey with you. I have been doing some 36 hrs but recently I have been getting to 20- 24 hrs . Like you when I fail I simply plan for the next day. I know it is doable so that keeps me going.

    500 - 800 calories (depending on exercise & mindset) 2x a week works miracles for me 🎉 I also eat pretty ok on most other days… I have future goals to 24/36 hour fast at some point also

    I actually like the keto/low carb lifestyle. I have less incidence of inflammation, more energy, better skin, less pain and flare ups, and better sleep and digestion. Wheat causes me gluten sensitivity, bloating, gas and makes me sluggish. I enjoy using almond flour for making bread and pizzas. I’m able to eat many things that I enjoy on a low carb lifestyle. Consistency and motivation are my issues. I tend to get off track during my cycle and sometimes it’s hard to get back on track. But I’m determined to do way better. I wish you success with losing the weight you’ve gained back too. Just know you’re an inspiration for many of us! 💪🏽

    This is the result of not learning what food and amount is good for your body by eating whatever you want on eating days. I love adf but I am here after months of trying to loose weight by eating appropriate food. It is working but you have to be very strict with calories and avoid carbs. So this is my plan for maintenance because for reduction is too slow. Most of us with some kilograms more, have undiagnosed eating disorders and bad relationships with food. This is another area to cure to keep weight after reduction. I believe so 🙏🏻

    Thank you beautiful lady for all that you contribute! I am at the point where I only eat processed foods on a cheat day every two weeks. STILL I can only lose weight with ADF and I don't consider that a loss because it helps me so much with appetite correction and just...feeling better!

    Hi Colleen, have you tried plant based? It's been less than a month for me and I've lost 15 lbs so far. I can have mu potatoes beans fruit and vegetables unlimited and I get full faster and I eat less because I'm nourished with whole foods over processed and junk food. I didn't believe this would be so easy. I don't count calories and it's just happening naturally. You can have your pasta and Roman noodles I hope everyone will try this way of eating. It definitely helped me with my cravings for sweets. If you can't leave the meat alone totally, try cutting back to 2 times a week and watch the difference. You will lower the amount of saturated fat you consume

    Apple cider vinegar in whatever container covered with plastic wrap. Poke a few tiny holes in the wrap. The fruit flies can get in but can't get out. & almond flour cake can gwan! It's the almond flour cookies that nuh mek it 😣

    A cleaning solution contain water, vinegar and peppermint essential oil will eliminate fruits in seconds. Use the solution on your counters or where they frequent an you will be good to go. If you have fruits out place them in the fridge while trying to get rid of them. Good luck…I hate fruit flies

    U can put sum vinegar n water n a cup. N sit on ur table or counter. N the fruit flies will go n the cup n dye. Or u can buy u sum neem spray that works 2. I heard it really stinks but it works. Or u can also buy those apple things of off Amazon they work 2.

    Yes- you are so right about having to maintain it- I lost 30 pounds .. during COVID I am a physician so I wore the hazmat suit and NO one saw me because I looked like a marshmallow - then when I got stressed out I cut back in 36 hour etc and I gained it all back !! That’s when the world opened up again … so I did not enjoy my progress 😢
    I am trying again …
    Do you have any advice on what to do in the middle of the journey … like before the weight comes off it before it is noticeable? ❤

    It’s not allegedly…..I personally know people who overcame cancer eating raw food❤ also, have you tried sweet sweat or another workout band for your stomach when you work out (Angel double
    Compressor) is my favorite…it makes you sweat so much more

    I love watching your videos but all this time if I’m honest I have only made it one day without food I have the best intentions at night or in the morning but around 2 ish 4 ish 6 ish i am weak as freck idk why I can’t do this

    Have you ever read fast like a girl by Dr. Mindy Pelz? It changed my entire outlook on fasting. I highly recommend it :) she also has a ton of CZcams videos!!

    I find it so hard to fast with a big family we’re I am always having to cook dinner for the house hold.
    I’m keep trying I can do 12 hours fast but pass that I struggle with 😩that just because I work overnight shifts that hold me for 12 hours.
