Great video! The Sunol Grade especially was spectacular to see!
I actually like going Northbound on the Sunol Grade slightly more, which will be in the season finale.
Really enjoyable to watch. Last time I was in the Bay Area I had a chance to take 680 south up to Livermore, personally enjoyed the scenery on the way.
It is a good ride, you will like the coverage I have for it on the upcoming (S10 EP13).
Like vid my friend cheers😊
I-680 CA forms a bypass route of the S.F. Bay Area just east of the bay as well as I-880 CA. I'd say I-680 CA is more scenic that I-880 CA because of more nature than just settlements.
I-880 is not scenic at all but it gets the job done.
Fun Fact:
I actually clinched I-680 going south in one video.
The final 13 miles in the North from Benicia to Fairfield were underwhelming to me when I toured it in 2013, have not been motivated to drive it again.
