video tours us-101 in san jose, ca us101 ca-1 i-280 i-880 i-580 in san francisco ca. video provides footage of the golden gate bridge and t he bay bridge approaching downtown san francisco
The iron ore raw material came from Durango, Mexico. From El Cerro de El Mercado. Visited the mine cave in Durango and it's noted there with a picture of The Golden Gate Bridge.
@wipandco: It's legal pretty much everywhere in the U.S. as long as it's not a shoulder lane (i.e. emergency breakdown). Solid white lines are generally only used in construction zones, to guide drivers around curves or other temporary realignments.
Almost no palms in SF :(, LA was so different, but the winter is very mild in SF so it's not the climate stopping them up there. Ohh and I love your videos ScrewdUPClickV2!
@ShawnJVirchow: As someone who commuted a lot across the Bay Bridge, it's VERY common in the summer months to see plates from all over the country and Canada I've even seen plates from as far away as Chiapas, Mexico.
last time i went to san franscico was like 2004 or 2003 i forgot it was like long ago i wanna go but still when i see ur vids i feel like im actully traveling nice vids keep on making good vids
California started numbering its freeway interchanges, whether on Interstates or not, in 2002 using the standard mileage-based system; that is, by miles from a freeway's southern or western end point. However, because of budgetconcerns, many interchanges still do not have numbers posted as of January 2013.
Make sure you include SF's 49 MILE SCENIC DRIVE (there's videos of it here on youtube) and a drive along PACIF COAST HIGHWAY. Starting at CLIFF HOUSE in SF to at least HALF MOON BAY. The section going thru town of PACIFICA is what made me move there from NYC area.
@mark99k: Oh yeah, I definitely can't wait for the new eastern span to open up. The East Bay has a lot of great landmarks as well; it's too bad that the drive along the lower deck obscures much of the view, but that'll most certainly change with the opening of the new bridge. I'll probably be the first driver on it, lol.
Thanks for the wonderful drive through the Golden Gate and the other interesting spots. Considering that probably I'll never go there in person (I live in Italy), a high-quality virtual tour like this is the best I can get :-)
Nice vid thanks. Look forward to seeing more. I'm actually considering moving to the bay. I'm from mn. What advice would you give to somebody like myself? For me it's between the bay & san diego (la is too crowded for me) but I'm liking the bay a lil more at this point. Would to hear some pros n cons thanks
@Freewayjim: Nope, not weird at all. I'm a bigger fan of the Bay Bridge as well. Better views of the surrounding landscape (including downtown SF), at least on the upper deck. Starting in 2013 though, the new eastern span will offer amazing views for eastbound drivers of the entire East Bay; can't wait!
One of your defining videos of 2011! This is the kind of video that makes me appreciate the Bay Area and how I miss it. I definitely plan on exploring my home turf in the future for nostalgia. Looking forward to your next one, don't forget the East Bay! I-580 between Castro Valley and Oakland was one of my favorites! Great music choice too!
Great job! Great video, enjoyed the ride along and good choice of music for this scenery. BTW what movie making program are you using as I wish to upgrade in the very near future for my own projects.
Screw what do you drive on these trips your personal vehicle or do you rent a car? How many miles have you put on your car so far? By the way great Job once again :-)
Aah Bay Area freeways... most of them have beautiful scenery, especially 280. However, I think its freeway system sucks and is quite old... layouts are not well-designed, freeway conditions are really bad (pot holes everywhere especially on 101). Very narrow freeways for that much population composed of mainly 6 and 8 lanes (237, 85, 87, 101, most of 880 and 680). Plus ugly concrete interchanges. Even freeways in Las Vegas are much much better than these...
Going across the Golden Gate and seeing the San Francisco Skyline from the Other Side was So Amazing❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹
Great video! It’s a lot of fun going around the bay area-and love the Golden Gate Bridge!!😊😊😊

Great tour! maybe I'm weird but I like the Bay Bridge over the Golden Gate, the US-101/I-280 interchange looks very cool, enjoyed the ride!

Very nice trip ! There's best view on the city from bridge. Excellent highway solution on (I mean) difficult terrain.
love the Bay Area such a beautiful place.
if you could put a map on the right hand corner (google map) with a dot where you are going would be great.
You make the best freeway videos I have ever seen! Fantastic montage! Love the notations and audio!
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!!!!

This is great. I really like now that you've gotten rid of the resample blur - looks awesome. Excellent!

Wonderful music with JBL speakers indian country 😍
Man wish I can visit the bay area nice job on the video
San Francisco is a very beautiful place and with me stayin in Phoenix 4 good I will be visitin it a lot.
The MacArthur Maze and the I880/I580/CA24 are by far more impressive than the 680/280 interchanges in my opinion

Awesome vid. I wish you would show us more. 7 min isn't enough. BTW, are you allowed to cross a solid white line in CA?
Screw what do you drive on these trips your personal vehicle or do you rent a car?

Wow, if only the weather was sunny :)

Hey how did you add in the road signs in to the video? Just wondering I have a few videos of my mom driving with me and my camera.
Awww, we missed the MGM lion roaring "KWP-HD??!?!?!?!?!!!" at the beginning.
Must have been left left home in Texas, I guess.
@SossarHatarSverige there are plenty of palms in SF. Not nearly as many as LA though.
PS... Volvo 940 at 6:23 in the righthand lane :D
Super
The song please?
I subbed! :D
I LOVE CALIFORNIA
This is nice for someone like myself who's never visited the states
All the talk about Hawaii being the most scenic place in the world. California is a lot more scenic and beautiful then Hawaii and then some.
+Noah Gul How so?? Don't worry I'm not going to berate you. I'm not that kind of person.
George Gull OK that's fair but personally I like California better. The California Coast is a treasure.
I think so.
lmao @ the click it or ticket signs. what a giant waste of money and resources. ty for the vid.
is that a school bus? 1:05
if only i knew how to use google maps i can show you the areas that i do
The Golden Gate Bridge is also the third suicide destination

Agree, especially down south in Santa Clara county. Silicon Valley deserves better freeway system.
look pack a punch machine :D
