Thoughts on International Women's Day 2021💣

An International Women's Day 2021 Speech about Gender Pay Gap for Women in Photography on the ways we women hold ourselves back in regards to our income earning potential. As a pricing and sales mentor for photographers, I do see a difference between my female and male coaching clients. I'm dishing out some tough love on men vs. women in business.
Some the gender pay gap for women is how we are raised, some is our personalities, some are expectations from spouses, and much comes from the bulk of the household duties being dumped on the wife.
What if women photographers charged what their male counterparts did? What if we stopped making excuses for our clients? What if we were BOLD and actually had confidence in our PROFITABLE pricing?
Imagine if we stood up for ourselves and demanded equal pay for our hard work. If you want to make money as a photographer in 2021, you need to stand out. Your photography pricing is part of how you do that, as well as helping you earn a living through art.
