- Install instructions and review of Hogue Monogrip for revolvers on a S&W 629 44 magnum. Only costs $35. It will convert your round butt frame K, L, N, X, Z frame to swuare butt style grip. This is the same grip on 500 and 460 S&W.
Shipping was fast directly through Hogue

It would be interesting to do a back to back comparison with the Pachmayr “decelerator” grip, which is bigger than that bantam grip, but also wraps around the blackstrap and has a softer rubber than their “gripper” grip
Perfect explanation to my question from yesterday in depth thanks
Thanks for your input. Just took my S&W 629-6 performance center to the range for the first time with VZ G10 grips… shot 20 magnum rounds, which was kind of uncomfortable. Just placed an order for these hogue grips. I think having that price of rubber between the backstrap and hand will help with the harshness of the recoil.
Hey I couldn't find those night sights on The web. Do you have a link to them?
Thanks, you made me laugh with the "homicide" crack! 😁
Got the middle finger bruised from shooting heavy loads? That’s what she said 😂😂😂😂. Great video brother thank you. I just ordered mine.
Beautiful Magnum.
Thanks bro, favorite gun I own and will ever own probably. totally in love with it
Thank you for sharing!
I have a gun Shop near me. One Minute with my feed. I will go when it's open. It's a gun Shop for Hunters and they have camouflage material like for the army. Very important because when they can not See you they can not catch you. A secret emergency hiding place.
Much love and respect family! 💖 💖 💖

I had the tritium rear adjustable rear sight and a custom tritium front sight. What was the first rubber grip not the hogue too big for cow
pachmayr
Took S&W less time to build pistol
Where did you buy it
Thank you for all the information.
Do you want to sell those wood grips, I'll buy them
I'll keep them thanks though
No problem many more revolver videos to come
It looks like the Hogue grips force you hand to sit too low, and not as high as possible, as you should grasp the gun to archive maximum recoil control.
All revolver grips do that

I respectfully disagree, there are some grips, like the Hogue JM, the Pachmayr compac and compac pro, the Pachmayr diamond pro you have, the original Ruger GP 100 Lett grips and many others, to name a few, that allow you to grasp the revolver properly, with your hand high on the backstrap.
I have mainly noticed this problem with the Hogue monogrips with finger grooves, and this is why a lot of people who shot in competitions remove the finger grooves from their Hogue grips, and the reason Hogue has, a few years ago, started to produce some rubber monogrips without finger grooves for L and N frame S&W revolvers as well as for the Ruger GP 100.
I suggest that you replace the stock firing pin with an extended firing pin to make sure that you don't have any light primer strikes. The company APEX have a great firing pin for a 44 mag. I think the apex firing pin might fit the 500 magnum as well not sure though.
Thanks I'll check it out
