25:44. The reason her mom didn't recognize her was the same reasons Marty's parents didn't recognize him; she knew her for 1 week 30 years ago & had likely forgotten what she looked like in the past (although in this film's case there are photos of her then).
My head canon is that Chris was too traumatized to get the film developed so those pictures didn't exist in 2023

tbh no one's first thought is time travel so she probably just one day thought "wow they look really alike cool"
Also have to remember that while we see the character at their current state the whole time, in universe her parents watched her grow over the years and probably would never make that connection at all.
I find the joke at 19:05 especially funny since there was actually an obscure slasher movie from 1981 called "scream"
My only complaint about this Count is that it doesn't include my favorite line which I heard was an ad lib by actor Jeremy Monn-Djasgnar. That caught Kieran Shipka with how vicious it was

The opening fight scene with Pam is what sold me on this movie. It was smart and entertaining to see someone fight back so effectively against a villain.

That subplot of Jamie preventing her parents from getting married too soon but then it the opposite happens and she’s not the only child anymore was absolutely brilliant. This movie is awesome! Thanks for putting me on! I absolutely loved that the builders of the time machines were mother and daughter and that they were black. They reminded me of my big sister who works in a STEM job. And I love that the victims went down swinging or did their best to do so. Horror movies are better when the Big Bad has to earn their kills!

One will rush to greet me and strangers at the door, and neither of them has intentionally scratched or bit me, even when I go for belly rubs. I just know how to read them and respect their autonomy by not constantly picking them up, which has made them into some incredibly sweet, content purr monsters

Good horror comedies like Freaky, Happy Death Day, and Totally Killer are such amazing gateways into horror. I may not be like- a die-hard horror fan, but im definitely a huge fan compared to how i was before. And im really grateful for it.

As a person who watched a lot of Collider and Screen Junkies in the late 2010’s and saw a lot of Sasha Perl-Raver, it was awesome to see her as the co-writer for Totally Killer. That film critic space of that era was faded a lot by COVID, but stuff like Ringer Movies and Dan Murrell are still going and people from that space like Sasha, Charley Feldman with X-Men 97 and Chris Stuckman getting his Shelby Oaks project going are great to see.
My wife isn't a big horror fan and I usually watch horror movies by myself. This is one of the horror movies she watched with me, and she loved it! Freaky and Happy Death Day were some other ones that she loved.

I recommend Ready or Not (2019) since she seems to like horror with a bit of comedy to lighten the mood.

Yeah that ending and twist did it for me. Future Doug isn't ever confronted and not only that was just walking free for years. Dude didn't even go after Pam, but he did it and it feels barely focused on. Lol he just ceases to exist and honestly I'd love to hear his full notice and explanation.
Oh this is a minor complaint, hey it's time travel, we don't know how it works so I ain't gonna question it, but the other guy just senses they're in there and travels in time? I love how she didn't prevent the girls from losing their lives btw.

Like him connecting the time travel as well and seeing that he didn't kill the mom he could be the one who traveled in time. Then when he sees his younger self the younger version is bruised but alive.
I could see younger Doug also only getting the two girls and serving time for that and maybe reforming and getting a less severe sentence with why he did it. I get what you mean to a degree, but even weakly explaining it would've been interesting.
Doug being the super twist villain wasn't bad though.
I really loved this movie, such fun parallels to Back to the Future. So glad it's getting Kill Counted.

This was one of my favorite horror movies as of recent years. The kills were real feeling, the jokes were funny, and it’s ultimately a nice twist on the typical traveling back in time genre. I give it a 8/10

My new favorite horror, actually it's the only one from the 2020s that I added to my list.
Kiernan Shipka and Olivia Holt are the bonus that made this movie my new favorite, I can't imagine anyone else in those roles

Seriously congrats on you guys getting a booth and good to see your better half putting up with you and your videos. It was an alright movie and the second killer played the professor in jason x and he played a pilot who became a vampire in the show the strain
This was a huge surprise. Great horror flick with a good twist of a story and plenty of good humor.
This is one of the rare movies you've covered were I watched this one with my parents before the kill count. Usually I have to watch the kill count first so I know what happens and won't be anxious so I can actually enjoy the movie. This is probably my second favourite horror movie after Tucker and Dale Vs Evil. Also the guy who plays young Blake (Charlie Gillespie) played a ghost in the underrated Netflix show Julie and the Phantoms (which I will NEVER forgive Netflix for canceling)
This was actually the first horror movie I ever watched (I’m a baby, I know) and fell super in love with it, and wanted to watch more, which is how I ended up at this channel!

I’m so glad I decided to watch this movie before the Kill Count. I don’t always do it, but I think I learned from this one I absolutely should. The whole film was totally up my alley and it pays off in a very big way at the end. Highly recommend it!
The most horrific and tense moments in this video was when James was holding his cat by the underarms. I was waiting for the cat to turn around to murk James, cats react violently to humans loving

If it were up to me, the dull machete would go to Chris Douche-massage. That effect of him just turning into a puff of red mist with absolutely no viscera or anything is laughably bad. Sucks even worse because of how cool it could’ve been. The idea is super clever so I’m guessing that’s why it didn’t get the dull ma-shitty kill award
