I loved how they broke several movie cliches like the 'oh he's the good looking guy helping the girl cliche
But my favorite broken cliche is how the main villain stands off with the protagonist...only to learn she got the wrong target.
Makes you wonder, if she did get the right target, would it be a much different result?

Slasher flicks were never really my thing. I just remember the fit my state at the time, and its sewer to the east, had about the original poster. The one with I Love NY on it, and the blade cutting through the image. Man did the state house and governor have a meltdown over it. Even pushed for a boycott of the film by all NYers.
Needless to say, it backfired. It's one of the few I watched.

It’s genuinely a fresh breath of air to see something poke fun at both sides. Most ‘poke fun at both sides’ things always are extremely biased with 1 or 2 jokes for one side, and about 80 minutes worth of jokes against the other.

I love how strange Crystal acts in this movie using common street knowledge to stop bullshit right away but the scene where she kick the guy from the car is amazing! How she is just like “yeah dont like this” and makes such a weird noise and goes about turning to him in such an odd way no one know how to react.

Same here funny enough, when I first saw it I had a good laugh at the amount of false leads they gave us. Sadly though I remembered the trailer when I saw this video and it made me realize that unless you forget about it or just don’t see it period you’d most likely not be fooled by the false leads.

I love this movie, because it does sweep you off your feet for at least the first 20-30 minutes and still leaves things unanswered. You never know whether you’re really with the protagonist until everyone is dead, and who Krystal really is. She served in Afghanistan, but the confusion over whether she is Justice4Yall is still unanswered due to the fact that Krystal could just be lying to put a little more salt in the wound. Or she really isn’t Justice4Yall and she just has a keen sense of what is going on. It’s left unclear, even with Krystal saying she isn’t, as we never see any proof beyond “I’m not” and the fact she seems more intelligent than her posts made her out to be. It’s an interesting ending, and leaves it fairly open ended while not needing more.
When the handsome guy gets killed by the landmine, it really reminds me of the intro of the movie Feast. Where a man shows up, being introduced as The Hero and then instantly gets killed by the monsters.

My biggest complaint about the opening is that Landmines don't explode out of the blue like that. They only explode when whatever pressure triggered the mechanism (i.e. the foot) is removed. Thankfully it doesn't ruin my enjoyment of the film, especially when we are first introduced to our TRUE protagonist. Hearing her say "Cigarettes in Arkansas only cost 6 bucks, YOU FUCKED UP BIATCH" made me almost die laughing, it was just so out of left field and I was honestly not expecting it.
This movie is so great. I was able to see it right before lockdown. Tone was absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t stop laughing, at everyone.

I was incredibly and pleasantly surprised by this little gem. I had a BLAST watching it. It's fun and it pokes fun at everyone pretty equally. It has some gnarly violence and big laughs. Both of which I love. Surprise hit for me! 🙌🏻

The hunt was meant to be a slaughter, not a real challenge and if you think about it, that's what they would've gotten with Justice4Yall. What do you think she would've done? My guess is that she would've tried to find the person in charge to chew them out because 'she has rights'.
This film is hilarious. I love a good-natured roasting of everyone, no one gets out unscathed, everyone's beliefs get dragged through the mud and everyone has a good time. Ecept this time with more guns.

Betty Gilpin is so good in this! She plays her no nonsense character perfectly. Small facial expressions throughout and awesome line delivery!
That and she isn't afraid to give her bad-ass character some fun quirks. For example the rickety noises she made when she was about to kick that fake driver out of the car.

I loved the part where Crystal was chosen on accident because of someone else has the same name. It's actually something that sadly happens. Someone's life gets ruined due to a case of mistaken identity, which sadly happens IRL.
Fuckin tell me about it. Me and my cousin are close in age and have the same name. My uncle had a drunk one night stand and the mom didn’t know about my name. The cops come looking for me all the time cause my cousin is a little shit. Doesn’t help we’re so closely related
