    I'm buying the Asus Studiobook 16 because I want to support a PC that is willing to take on Mac in the creator space. This computer really has some great innovations. The fact that $2000+ MacBook Pros don't come with a simple camera cover like this Asus shows how much Apple really cares about your privacy too. I'm going to invest in privacy. The only thing to me that's better about the Mac is that you have better battery life and you need to to plug the ASUS in to get equal performance. Otherwise, I'll happily trade that to be able to upgrade my components over time, have better customization and privacy capabilities and have a computer that doesn't need any dongles what so ever. I don't want to buy a $2500 computer and put tape over the camera.

    Ben, I am hoping to get a version of the ProArt Studio 16. I was thinking of getting this Ryzen model. The only thing is I am worried about is the temperature. Using Capture One for photo editing? Should I worry? Might wait until summer for the newest model. What questions between this Ryzen and the I7? Either way I will be ordering using your link. Best laptop CZcams channel!

    Is the PRO version worth getting? The non pro is already pricy for me, but is it worth saving up for the PRO model? (Was looking at the H5600 model)
    This is for photo editing (Lightroom/Photoshop) and for 4K video editing (Premiere, potential for Resolve in future).
    Not shooting raw video, just from the Sony mirrorless cameras

    I’m assuming the majority of viewers here know Newegg, but I got the ProArt StudioBook right when the new model came out/was restocked last year on Newegg, and it felt pretty smooth (no crazy competition with other buyers). Maybe checking on there would help? Idk if prices are higher though.

    Been following all your reviews for these and deciding between the StudioBook and the Zephyrus M16. Do you have any plans to review the 12th gen version of the ProArt 16 w/ i9 12900H and 3070 Ti? Has a 2.5k screen, so I assume the battery life should be better.

    • @BenGKaiser
      @BenGKaiser  Před rokem +1

      I'm TRYING hard to get a hold of a model to review. But it's gonna be great. I loved the 11th Gen and the 12th gen will prove to be a little more powerful. I also like on the new model that they removed the manual click buttons for the trackpad. So now the new model has a fully clickable trackpad. So for me this is better.

    • @charliecooper3030
      @charliecooper3030 Před rokem

      @@BenGKaiser Whoa, had no idea. Sounds even more promising! In my region I can get this 12th gen version w/ 32 GB RAM for around ~2,321 USD. 64 GB RAM version for 2,538 USD. I use Davinci Resolve and it's been impossible to find any information on whether or not the Creator Hub/Dial has been updated to support it. Too many variables to juggle. Don't really need the 4k screen so the 2.5k sacrifice is personally great to me.
