- Wow...so usually when ASUS asks us to review a product, its USUALLY because they know it will meet our expectations, we've pretty much reviewed every great laptop, and found all their faults, quirks and just the not so good.
With that said, ASUS clearly knew we would be able to find a fault on this absolutely powerhouse, and they right, we couldn't...this ASUS ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 is a monster!
Rocking the Intel® Xeon® W-11955M Processor the ASUS ProArtStudiobook is a powerhouse machine that pushes every boundary to give you the effortless creative experience you’ve always wanted.

Love the video! Link for the product in the background shoqing the hologram of a sneaker?? Lol thanks.
Omg I'm almost salivating at the mouth. This laptop looks so perfect. I'm studying graphic design and will have to edit a ton of raw photos and work with 3D software as well as use almost all the Adobe softwares. This looks like it could take all of it. I might get this. Otherwise, do you recommend any other laptop for graphic design??
This could probably do everything you can throw at it. They truly are powerhouse machines.
How's the laptop working now after a year? I was thinking of this laptop or the Zephyrus Duo 16 but on the latter, some had technical issues after a year with random crashing.
Wow well done AGAIN 🔥😊😊
Appreciate the support, couldn't do it without you ❤️😜
Geez, I think I need this for my online work! Why do I have to sit behind a desk when I can be suntanning outside and working on an awesome laptop?!
I use a 2018 MacBook Pro to edit 4K ProRes RAW over Thunderbolt 3 off a QNAP RAID 5 NAS - once I convert to CinemaDNG - I wonder what my performance would be over Thunderbolt 4 ? I heard it’s backwards compatible… does the Ryzen NOT support Thunderbolt while the Intel does???
Hi,
very nice review. I was particularly curious about the performance for photo editing. I saw that you did a test exporting 100 36MP RAW images in Lightroom, which took less then 3 seconds per image. Can you say how this compares to exporting the same RAW image from Adobe Bridge in Photoshop? Or how long it takes to load a 36MP RAW image into Photoshop?
Right now I have a Dell XPS 15 9570 i7 with 32 GB RAM, and exporting a 24MP RAW image in Lightroom takes me around 16 seconds. Loading the image from Camera Raw into Photoshop takes a bit more than 10 seconds.
Thanks!
I'm seeing lots of negative reviews for the ProArt 16 claiming that the OLED touchscreens are distractingly grainy and have a "mesh screen" effect. They say it's most noticeable in the whites and up close. What's your take on that? Is it a problem at all? Ty!
Please, could you tell me if it works or better if it runs the flight simulator game in short, gaming? Thanks a lot for the answer
U never showed scrubbing the time line after rebooting the Adobe software I was here just to see 10 bit scrubbing
Well, I just bought the i9 W7600 version and hope I like it as much as you hyped it. I will mostly use it for Lightroom classic work.
Wtf is w7600 😂
Do you happen to have scores fo the newer 12thgen i7 ETX3080Ti veresion? I really am interested in the Cinibench r23 scores...please let me know
Sorry I don't have any new scores.
Do you know what stylus works with this?
How is the battery life / ability to achieve full performance not plugged in? I’m trying to compare m1 macbook pro being able to achieve full performance on just battery. Has this been an issue for you?
It’s rubbish and almost flat after an hour. It needs to be plugged in or you are gonna suffer.
x86 architecture is way inferior to arm when comes to power efficiency, so don't expect any x86 computer to perform the same on battery as compared to arm architecture.
Man! One day!
Hi, so Proart can handle 4k adobe premiere pro editing with efects and all the extras ? smoothly?
Depending on the spec, yes it will, pretty easy.
@@RICH_Photography specs are the same with 4080 rtx and i9 13980HX well at least im loking at this specs model hehe
Been looking at this laptop vs the Razer Blade 17” which is more of a gaming laptop with IPS 144 fps 4K screen with accurate color. The ASUS seems to have older specs in comparison. The Razer has an intel i9 with ddr5 a 3080 ti, 1080p web cam, 8 speakers which I find very tempting. What makes the ASUS better in comparison? Or is it? The ASUS is also more expensive for the top model. I’m a wildlife photographer & want to edit my photos with accurate colors etc. is it just the edit wheel that makes the ASUS better or?
yeah, also razer blades are kinda known for having bad quality control and breaking down a lot of the time (seen with many gaming laptops, sadly, there’s a reason they tend to be cheaper despite having max specs)
@@Rapidbeatsofficial At the end of the day it came down to availability. I do think the ASUS is overall the better machine but the Razer 17 was available & the ASUS was not. So far on performance the Razer 17 has exceeded my expectations. As far as reliability only time will tell.
Can the dial be customised for da vinci resolve as well?
That is something I wondered
can we use touch pad as graphic tablet to draw on it rather than on screen always if so how is it
Yes, you can check on different models of this laptop, some comes with the stylus included. And all comes with backpack.
How does it handle 3D design?
R u kidding? It has a quadro rtx gpu, obviously it will handle 3D easily
hey bro I am a beginner 3d artist and I am looking to buy a new computer and I want to buy this computer but there are two kinds of computer with two different prices, do you think that the extra money would be worth it in regards the graphics cards? for maya, blender, z brush and rendering? do you think that there will be a huge difference between these two computers worth paying the extra money? will rendering time in maya will be a lot faster?
these computers are the Asus Artpro book studio.
ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED (W5600, AMD Ryzen 5000 series)
AMD Radeon™ Vega 7 Graphics, NVIDIA® RTX™ A2000 Laptop GPU
ProArt Studiobook Pro 16 OLED (W7600,11th Gen Intel)
Intel® UHD Graphics, NVIDIA® RTX™ A5000 Laptop GPU
Is there back light for the keyboard keys ..?
Yes there is 👌
Awesome. Hold on. What's going on with that sneaker 😆
crazy how my dad bought me this for school and gaming
@ANAHITA QUEEN OF OCEAN To my knowledge it's not
Is it a touch screen display
No this one is not a touch screen.
Think twice before buying this laptopl! Having purchased one a month ago, I can say its shockingly badly put together! The screen bezel started peeling off 3 days in, and for the price and quality of components it really underperformed in my opinion, and its very LOUD! I have returned that grade A piece of trash and got myself a new M2 Macbook Pro. 2-3x better performance and quiet too!
Not gonna lie the Asus box low key looks like a PS4
I see it, subtle similarities bringing back good vibes 👌
This thing is not of this earth...Specs sound similar to my bloody desktop here
5900X
64GB DDR4 (4000Mhz)
AMD Radeon RX580 (8GB)
2TB Sata SSD
X2 10TB HDDs
X1 8TB HDD
Nice specs Jonathan.
So true, hard to believe it's got such epic specs and didn't even hear it blasting through 4k footage!
Closed out at 13 seconds for numerous reasons.
Whatever that is, you call - mUzAk - is not allowed in my ears.
2. Shill Energy (I'm an Asus customer/fan, even)
3. The red bull wall
My fuck.
i will never buy a laptop made with plastic...
It's not you dvmbarse. It's aluminium and magnesium
I have to roll my eyes when you call what you did a "real world test" far far from real brother.
Millions times more real than a benchmark that every review shows 😉
@@RICH_Photography But you did not even so the 5.7 playing. You just kind of played for sec and cut. I mean most people have titles and music and 2 tracks of of video and use luts and things. You did a soft shoe example while be used care salesmen of the year. But I'm half kidding. You do a great job and I've watched a lot. I am very frustrated trying to figure out what to buy. Quick question if you would not mind. I am a semi pro editor. Weddings and Docs and bands ect. I do not game at all. Would you buy the proart RTX 300s ada Proart or the RTX4070 proart? I've been studying for weeks and it's getting me down. I just don't want to buy a laptop that I can' r return if it does not cut it.
