If they bring him back, they could bring him back as the Spectre character for one final season, and introduce GREEN LANTERN in this season, to spin off Green Lantern into his own series. Ijs. It could work.

What if: This limited series takes place in a timeline where “Flash Missing Vanishes In Crisis” actually happens. It’s the closest to “original” timeline where the Flash was actually created by Harrison Wells and Tez rather than by Eobard Wells. Wally West actually takes over as the Flash. XS and Impulse are actually the Tornado Twins Dawn and Don. It’s the closest that we get of the “original” timeline. It can also just be the timeline where XS was in before she goes to the past to change fate for Barry.

Arrow was one of my favourite shows ever! I don’t really know how I feel about them bringing it back. I just don’t want them to ruin what I remember about the show. If they do, they need to do it the right way.

I was not happy with the way arrow ended. So i wont mind him coming back. But it should only be team OTA oliver-felicity-diggle. maybe finally we will see diggle as lantern with oliver as spectre.

Imagine if they did a series where the spectre sets the arrowverse up for future crossovers and the spectre is the one who gets everyone together for the crisis and you use versions from the multiverse to participate instead of the main characters from other shows
and yes also in the process removes the current lame flash and other non sensical characters in it, and brings a brand new, much better flash from multiverse with the same face, who is not lame and garbage, and can really do some stuff on his own and also brings a better iris or just straight ahead remove irises from anywhere in the multiverse

Thought this video might have been purely speculation but with Stephen Amell’s interest the possibility is real. If doing an alternate Oliver Queen on HBO Max, I’d like to see the earlier hardcore version that’s lethal against the villains.
It's not Amell's decision. He tried to come back once and it was immediately shot down. Amell just likes to keep his name in the news so he fans that flame occasionally. Arrow isn't coming back, Stephen Amell doesn't make that decision.
A green arrow that is closer to the comics and is more punisher style towards villains would be good to see
If Earth 1 Laurel returns she will have closure with Oliver and be a couple again.

What they should do is make an Elseworlds show. It wouldn't ruin anything Earth Prime does and would allow for them to tell new stories. They could do the graphic novel approach or each season is a different Earth. Season/Graphic Novel 1 could be Arrow, but with some big change. This would allow Arrow to come back without undoing the big sendoff Oliver was given. Maybe this universe could be more like Comics Green Arrow. He would be with Black Canary and be much more lighthearted.

@@crusader2112 I have had this idea for a while. I like Marvel's What If..?, but I would want Elseworlds to be live action and each story is multiple episodes instead of one 30 minute animated episode. We could see so many cool things like Brandon Routh as Superman again.

He said on a podcast during covid he contacted producers saying the cast of flash couldn't make it to vancouver to film and he lived there so let's do 1 more season of arrow
They're not 100% bringing back. If you actually watched the interview you'd see he would be down for the idea, which does not confirm anything nor does it mean this is even close to being a reality

this is not actually happening. Stephen Amell just said that if someone offered him a job as playing Green Arrow again, most likely in a shorter 9th season. he would say yes.
If something was to be worth a limited series, I would have it premiere THE DAY that Arrow migrates from Netflix to HBO Max. I think that’s around February 2025

A series called spectre would work as a continuation but calling it Arrow won’t really work unless the tell a story where he is not the spectre and a version of Oliver queen who somehow got displaced during crisis it can’t be that after crisis all versions of Oliver queen died there must be some out there in the multiverse who made a different call compared to the Oliver queen who sacrificed himself during crisis the other option would be for someone new to take up the mantle and continue arrow Oliver did state that he created arrow to pass the mantle to someone else when he wanted to step away.

My personal choice would be for a Spectre series with Stephen in the lead role, or give him a blonde dye job and the Van Dyke goatee and have him spin off from Stargirl as Earth 2's Green Arrow.

My only thoughts would be a new original season (as he said, 8-10 episodes) that essentially remakes the first season with elements from across the entire show.
Death stroke would likely be the villain, and I see them actually ending with oliver and laurel together.

They would’ve never killed off Tony now, specially because the MCU has been struggling hard lately, so they would have killed off someone else. I’ve even heard they are planning to bring back Tony Stark through the Multiverse of Madness thing and Captain America during the MCU version of Secret Wars

@Mostaversethey didn't stop making comics after 10 years, why would they stop making movies. We only got the avengers, guardians and spider-man. Why would they stop, if they can finally make movies, with characters, never seen on the big screen like shang-chi, eternals, she-hulk and many more. People want to see this. Why did everybody want the mcu to end with endgame? You can still watch the infinity Saga without the New stuff if you want to. Just because they're making New movies, doesn't mean the older ones are bad or not there anymore. I just don't get it.

Honestly I don't know how I feel about this, I'd be okay with it if the storyline was pre-crisis, but at the same time... what's the point? We have 8 seasons, most of those are great, but do we really need Oliver to return when he's dead? If he returns as the Spectre, then maybe idk but if he actually comes back to life then Crisis just seems pointless

What if barry accidentally ran to a timeline where Oliver didn’t die and what if old Oliver that was saw in crisis sacrificed his life instead since he lost everything.
That was literally the original timeline Oliver queen was supposed to live until he was 86 years old so in the original timeline Oliver lived on While Barry died in COIE

An idea I had for a limited series or full series is Oliver as the Spectre senses a threat to the multiverse and he puts together a team or heroes from different Earths kinda like in Infinite Frontier. That or another idea I like which lots of people are saying is have it set on a different Earth so we can get a more comic accurate GA and Black Canary (with Katie back).

id like them to do "lost episodes" of Arrow. maybe 8 episode limited series where each episode takes place in each season of arrow, just something that happened during the time of each season that we didnt see. or even show something that happened during the summer break between each season as those canonically happen
or show the "episodes" of Olivier and Felicity in Seattle, retiring in Season 4 or 5. If not just do a show HBO Max with GA and BC and possibly Roy appear a few times and Thea only as a guest two eps/2 and a half as well. With intellectual help from Mr. Terriffic??

How things went about and how a actor feels about their greatest role isn't always easy. His love for Arrow and the fans is massive.
We could have a story in an alternate timeline , maybe set it up using Barry Allen , Grant Gustin, from the Flash speeding over somehow to an alternate timeline where he meets Oliver Queen.
i love the show arrow and the comics, and i would definitely be on board for a return. but i think it would be cool to also see a different version of oliver. stargirls earth had a green arrow and speedy very much like the classic comics. maybe oliver and dinah (laurel) could be living together in seattle in an apartment above a florists (sherwood florists)

Imo they would do a multiverse where they all help create the new multiverse but instead barry dies. Then it would cut to earth prime barry doing what they did for the first supergirl crossover. Then barry notices that Oliver is alive through a TV. Then he goes to the bunker to find him but diggle will be there as green lantern.
Pagey, I love both of your ideas. Why not combine both your ideas into one? You could introduce your first idea of an alternate timeline in which Oliver survived Crisis as a multiverse world in your second idea. If that world or Oliver isn't destroyed and it's a hit with fans, perhaps it could setup a second limited series which would explore this world more.

I would love to have a HBO Max Green Arrow limited series on another earth. Have Stephen play a very comic accurate version of the character, Goatee, jokes and everything. He's a very funny guy in real life so he could definitely pull it off. You could even do it in the same universe as the other upcoming HBO Max DC projects (Blue Beetle, Black Canary, Batgirl, Peacemaker etc.)

It would be cool to have Arrow return for a limited series of 8-10 episodes, especially on HBO Max. They could pick up where the series ended with Oliver as the Spectre, or maybe do an alternate earth where he is still Green Arrow with Black Canary as his partner and girlfriend just to make things closer to the comics.
A Manu Bennett Deathstroke story would be great or maybe Specter teams with David Ramsey's Green Lantern. Would be fun..

I was thinking about this as well and had the same idea as you. Focus on an Oliver from an alternate timeline in which he didn't die. And I'd like to see HBO Max money behind this. Personally I think it will definitely happen in 5-10 years.

I think a reboot of Arrow would be the way to go, use the multiverse aspect and cast a strong new up and comer as Oliver queen, where Stephens Oliver maybe as the spectre helps this other Oliver who lives maybe on World 2 (stargirl's world) and this Olivers story begins mid way into the season first following Stephens Oliver and than handing the baton to the new Oliver
If it were to happen. I don't know how well this would work. But after Crisis, we know alot of the timeline change. So it could be cool if another series had self contained episode that retold the big events and how they went down in this post crisis time line. Like I know people weren't happy with things like series 3 and 4 final. So it be like a chance to do it better. Probably wouldn't work but I feel like it could be pretty cool
It should be some kind of JLA Beyond show with Oliver teaming up with Tom Welling Superman, Kevin Conroy as a retired Batman, Michael Rosenbaum as Wally, JWS as Barry and maybe finally add Diggle's GL...

They should make it a timeline where season one happened but season two did not so they could do a darker arrow like season 1
Tbh if Stephen amell ever considers doing a full 12-20 episode season, i would like to see a what if story where everything up till s5 is same except when Prometheus kills himself and the island blows up, everyone dies like literally everyone-diggle,his sister felicity etc.. or keep some alive like maybe diggle or felicity or his sister also maybe black siren and talia. And in this season they showcase just how bad oliver went off rails and spiraling down his own darkness yet barely keeping his sanity due to his son.
You know after working hard to restore or regain some of his soul and humanity back it all shatters and you see him broken in a way we've never seen where he went down so far into his own darkness where maybe theres no way back from there.

Is like to show a scene where two bad guys are running from someone and they go in an abandoned building to get away one them gets caught by an arrow he starts screaming and then you hear something break and no sound after that, the other guy continues then outta nowhere kinda like jump scare oliver comes out from the shadows tackles him and seconds b4 his kills him the guy says "i thought you stopped killing" and oliver just breaks his neck.
I mean may not the best opening but still kinda showcasing that hes back killing people again.
he can team up with john diggle green lantern for few episodes. that would be cool to revive him or find another version of him like arrow black siren

I think Green Arrow can come through Stargirl because in Stargirl there was a charachter called "Shining Knight" and in the comics his team Included Green Arrow and Speedy so in Stargirl we can see him
To be honest after the final episode of the green arrow type stuff one I cant wrap my head around is that Oliver Stopped Deathstroke before he killed his mother, does this mean that the army never happened or did Deathstroke escape and carried on his plan without killing his mother or sister and also the secret Oliver's mother had did they find it out about Malcom through her or the league
I cant imagine a Spectre TV show So doing it would exceed the scope of my imagination and be AWESOME just to try it. ANY show with Black Canary I'm for.

I think there's be more of a possibility of him returning as the Spectre for a crossover event. Maybe one where they have to fight a version of Trigon or some other supernatural villain.
What I would do with the story is to have a different earth oliver queen come to earth prime, like they did with Beth and John Henry Irons.
The other way they can bring him back, if he's the green arrow on earth 2 with star girl. I don't think they casted an actor for earth 2 Oliver Queen yet.
The third option is Spector Olive Queen returns.

Given the Berlanti-verse has already regularly involved the Legion, it seems to me that an ideal villain to trouble The Spectre, particularly in terms of meddling with timestreams and such, would be the Time Trapper. I mean, I'm not much of a fan of what they do with the Legion on those shows (Saturn Girl was a mess for example, and Brainy is quite underused in terms of his alleged abilities) but there's a story that COULD be written there
An Elseworls/What If series would be cool. Like, imagine the waveride, but the crew are characters from Supergirl or Black Lightning suddenly being Batman and so on...

If I did a Arrow series I would maybe do a small 8 episode storyline set with Earth Prime Oliver Queen taking on a new threat he never did in Arrow previous seasons.

There would be so many plot holes if it were a timeline where Crisis happened, but he survived since that would technically mean there were two anti-monitors, (after all the Earths are destroyed there is no multiverse, there is only one dawn of time) but an alternate timeline would be cool
