The theme you know as "too good" is actually Perfect Cell's theme.
It's definitely the best villain theme. Cell's theme is awesome.
Cells theme is indeed one of the best in the whole series, and that's saying something. Vegeta's theme is also epic. The music in this episode is off the charts, almost as powerful as the Final Flash.
For me, the best Vegeta theme is: Vegeta Royal blue theme

The future Trunks special is definitely worth watching. Now is actually the right time before the end of the arc, it aligns chronologically with the current storyline and how we got here

The best time is arguably the order in which it aired in Japan, which is after episode 175 (the events in the video are from 158 or 159), or after episode 194 (the epilogue to the Cell saga)
@@BrandonHanners It doesn't really matter wether it's now or at 175 as long as it's before the near end of the arc. It doesn't spoil anything, it's just Trunks's backstory on what's happening in his timeline and how he got here. I already noticed that there are small details missing with these current scenes

The reason vegeta only blew cell's arm off was because cell actually dodged last second because he got scared the blast would do some serious damage
That's not true actually. Cell took head on, and all it did was blow off his arm, and cell was heavily supressed.
In the Manga cell cries like he's in pain and then says he is joking, and in the anime it was quite the same.
@@rafi_sensei5421 nope, cell dodged last second, you can look it up, even in the anime without prior knowledge you can see cell gets concerned and tries to avoid the attack and that's why it only hits his right side
@@rafi_sensei5421 hell if you look at the actual scene you see cell isn't actually in the same place he was prior, before the final flash he's in the middle of a crater, when we see the smoke clear cell is like a foot away from the center of said crater and the final flash's trail can be seen going to the center of the crater where cell was standing.
He dodged last second, look uo the manga and even the anime with added scenes you can see it.
@@yisus4681 he wouldn't be in the same place due to the destructive force of the Final Flash, but cell never dodged. I rewatched the scene. No dodging. Cell simply did it to humiliate Vegeta.
And with cells direct statement saying g he was Joking, he wasn't even hurt. His "oooh shiii.." was all for show.
@TheBoltMaster that's false. He never moved or dodged. And you can't speak for everyone. After I just read watched it. He never dodged. Sure he may have not have expected that much power from Vegeta, but he didn't dodge. Especially when you consider how supressed he was.

And it only blew off his arm, not half his body. Don't confuse Gokus Kamehameha for the final flash.
The hardest Vegeta scene imo 💯🔥🔥🔥 him powering up the Final Flash with the amazing OST always gives me goosebumps. I've been waiting for you to drop this one!
Fun fact: Cell actually partially dodged the final flash at the last moment. It is actually confirmed that if the final flash fully hit cell would have died.
That is actually not true cell just raised his energy and also if the instant kamehameha didn't kill him there's no way that the final flash would have since goku was at least 4 times stronger than vegeta at that point.

Also the Galick gun is Vegeta's equivalent of Kamehameha not the final flash. The final flash is Vegeta's equivalent of the spirit bomb.
@@devika2545 Because Cell was just screwing with Vegeta. You saw Cell immediately started laughing and calling Vegeta fool. Cell was hiding his true power the entire time, until his last fight with you know who. That Final Flash would not have killed him.

I love the perfect cell theme song. It's so iconic and LEGENDARY. Vegeta gets flustered and angry and he lets down his guard. The fact is perfect cell at this moment was so Op and cracked from his raw power that nobody stood a chance against him.
Wait until you see how ultra Super Saiyan trunks get floored and shown how slow he is, then you will see perfect Cell's perfection.
Honestly, re-watching this after all these years just makes me realize how much of an amazing job TFS did with conveying the emotion of the scene in a fraction of the time. I still think they did some scenes better.
I'd say the majority is better. Helps to have years of knowledge and hindsight on where the story's going
At this point, I don't even tell people to watch DBZ or Kai. I suggest they watch Abridged, because it gets the lore, while also making it funny with actual good dialogue. Wish they did the Buu Saga. Grateful for what they did accomplish though.

just an FYI: Krillin throwing a destructo disc at Perfect Cell is anime only, that wasn't in the manga, where IIRC the destructo disc has NEVER failed to cut something.
It's worth bringing up because Krillin created that technique on his own, and it's razor cutting edge doesn't seem to take power level into consideration, it just cuts whatever it hits, the main downside to the technique is that the disc doesn't move very fast so it can be dodged if you know it's coming, which is why it never finishes many fights: either the enemy is fast enough to dodge it anyway, or the enemy knows what it can do and so knows how to counter it, only villains as stupid as Nappa don't recognize the power of it and try to take it head on
also Cell broke Krillin's neck with that kick, he'd be dead as fuck without senzu beans

Also, powering up is a major strain on the body, which is why they scream all the time. You see the same thing with weight lifters lifting heavy objects or martial artists with their "hiya!".
Martial artists scream because screaming quite literally increases your power.

now I think you see why all of us were saying "THEY CUT THE FINAL FLASH FROM 'KAKAROT'?!", even though it didn't kill Cell (and probably wouldn't even if Cell hadn't dodged at the last second), the power of that attack is STAGGERING, especially with how much weaker Vegeta was than Perfect Cell at this point. If this was an enemy without regeneration, then this attack would have been the beginning of the end for the villain, assuming they survived
