Yeah, the seat roller would be the first thing I'd check for on a used Gesture. I was surprised to hear David say that the armrests typically don't have any problems. Must be a really solid design.

Have been looking for a Gesture for quite a few months. Got one on FB market place from a gentleman for about $200. Only problem is there seems to be some lubricant leak on the main column .

Hey Ahnestly, I did exactly this and bought a used gesture. However, could only find non-headrest versions. Any aftermarket headrest you would recommend for the normal gesture? Thanks in advance!

Is there any way to get new padding? I've had mine for ~8 years and the padding is flat now. It is very uncomfortable to sit in now.

Sweet find!! That’s the magic price point, but I’m noticing a lot of sellers trying to sell their personal gesture for $700+. Unfortunately, not gonna happen (no warranty, returns, etc)
For anyone that lives in Canada. How did you go about buying a steel case chair? Swear around me the only store I saw with resale closed down and I can’t find many reliable sellers individually. Curious if there’s a site or somewhere that ships that you all used.

Do a search within your city for a steelcase chair - it should bring some kind of official Steelcase seller for you.
Any luck on getting the fujin? Right now I use a mavix m9 that I got new for $400 and it's a great chair for that price in my opinion but am looking for the next upgrade in the future and so far I'm between the embody gesture or fern and I'm stuck on what's the best move.
H the fujin pro I think is slated for November release. They said they had a regular that they’re gonna send to me
@Ahnestly the regular one looks like a cheap $200 Amazon chair lol. I think the pro looks more interesting with the lumbar and headrest and all that. But congrats on getting one of them looking forward to the review

@Ahnestly yeah the regular seems like an absolute no go specially at its price point. I believe it's $600 usd which is outrageous I could easily get a used high end chair for that price. Definitely the pro is the much more interesting model over the regular
