Hey Lisa , I have been following your book and videos on Lenormand. It has been helping me a lot to learn, understand, and apply. The other day my sister called in and mentioned that my bro in law has lost his ring and has been upset since then. I jumped at the opportunity and told her I can find out where his ring is and thus impress my sis and her husband Lol 😂. So very much motivated with your teachings , I did a GT 😆 to find out where is the ring? I am stuck and wanted your help to sail me in the right direction. So I looked at the ring , it landed in letter , I looked at the letter, it landed in Sun, I looked at sun ☀️, landed in Dog >garden>woman>rider>heart>child>scythe>stork>snake>fox>bouquet>fish>tree>cross>anchor>mountain>house>stars>mice>moon>book>bear>crossroads >clover>Ring. Then I stop as I circled back to ring. So I go back to start of the chain… Ring in the house of letter? Ring is inside an envelope but I got stuck looking at letter in Sun and Sun in dog. Any cues with be really helpful for the amateur lenormand 🕵️♀️ detective 🤣. Thank you🙏🏻
Nice! Finding lost objects gets easier with practice. Check out the steps on page 343, you can see all the different questions you can ask to narrow down the search. Letter-Sun-Dog would lead me to believe that it's in a place where there are papers/documents, light, and he spends a lot of time. It sounds like his desk. Good luck!

(ho hum . . . . ) I found a good mat from Etsy and have it on order, I also purchased the last Bluebird Lenormand deck from there. :-) I'll come back to your channel and begin again once I have my GT mat. Thanks again! :-)
@@catherinedeuter you don't need a mat - they're just for convenience. I read for a couple years before I discovered mats. I simply laid a GT and printed out an image of the houses. Ooo, interesting! At first glance, it looks like you ended something too quickly and left things unsaid. The Coffin can also refer to something that's been buried or suppressed. The Rider is bringing this to your attention. The Letter and Scythe are referring to sorting through your words - things you've said or need to be said. Have you been suppressing a need to discuss something with someone? The Scythe brings a sense of urgency and in the house of the Ship, it can refer to cleaning-up loose ends before moving on. Does any of that resonate with the rest of the reading?

Here in France most of the People are not looking for the house of the tower to see what card fell in it but the opposite , we look at the tower card to see in what house it fell, I hope you understand me..

And also I heard in your vidéo that two wrongs don't make a good one ,this make sense to me , but people told me that for exemple 21/23 the mice are eating the problem or ennemy , witch is a good thing , but it is not that way ,right?

Hello Vanessa! Your English if fine. When using houses, you want to check the house any card falls in as well as checking that cards' house to see what card falls there. This is how we create chains. I have videos on chaining houses. For example, if the Child falls in the house of Rider, you then can check the house of Child to see what falls there. You can also check the house of the card that falls in the house of Child. You can then check what house the Rider falls in. And on and on you go! The Mice will reduce the Mountain if it falls after it, but the Mice is a negative card that brings anxiety and filth. Wouldn't you prefer to see a positive card following the Mountain or the Coffin? That's what I mean by two wrongs don't make it right. I have a chapter in my book on this topic. 😊

Question..House of the Ring and the Lady transits there...wouldn't it be the opposite? The Ring being the permanent placement wouldn't that indicate marriage or commitment contract? And not the other way round.? I'm new and love your reading about the company...so amazing!

I completely get what you're saying! It really can go either way and it's up to you to decide which makes more sense to you. The Ring visiting the Lady or the Lady visiting the Ring - to some they say the same thing. My thinking was that the house of the Ring represents the permanence of the Ring and she is just visiting that house. Can you see that by seeing the card landing in the house as a "visitor" makes it fluid? They're visiting but may not stay.

I just did a GT and the fish was mirrored in the line of fate. I had house, fish mountain and rider. Ordinarily I would say the 'double fish' is a good sign, except for the mountain next to it. Does a mirror, trump the non mirrored cards, if so, is the mountain less of an obstacle? I'm really confused how to look at this. Many thanks (again)
Hi Essie Bee. I really can't even picture what you're referring to. If you're on FB, you can send me the picture of the GT and the question you have about the interpretation through messenger. Otherwise, you can send it to me via email at lisaloveslenormand@gmail.com. Double Fish is a lot of abundance, so it is good. If Fish landed in the house of Fish in the fate line, I'm not sure what it's mirroring or on what side the Mountain fell as well as what other cards are there. The cards that fall are paramount and we read them according to the order they fall in as well as their proximity to our card and other pertinent cards. Mirroring, knighting, and houses are subsequent steps that you may or may not use.

Lisa, in the beginning of your video you mentioned the different formats for the GT. I know one is not necessarily "better" than the other, but could you explain why you decided to switch from the 9x4 to the 8x4+4 format? I haven't tackled a GT yet and I feel like I can't move forward until I commit to one format.
I can't say your video makes complete sense to me (and it's probably because I haven't attempted a GT yet). I particularly can't wrap my head around why Lady in Ring is read different than Ring in Lady. Also, when you were describing some possible meanings for Ring landing in the house of Lady, you suggested "a married woman." Would you get a similar interpretation if Ring landed next to Lady (the card, not the house)? Sorry if my comment is a confusing mess, but thank you for all the knowledge you share with us!
It's personal preference as to which format you choose and I have no idea why the 8x4+4 resonated with me more than the 9x4. It simply had a better flow for me. There's a good reason why the houses aren't making complete sense to you yet and it's because you haven't used a GT. Words introduce concepts, but practice teaches. Ring in Lady and Lady in Ring may mean the same thing. It will depend on the context of the reading. You'll know what it means when you're doing it. And, yes, the Ring touching the Lady card can say that she's married as well, especially when you're not using houses as in the MOD.
As I said at the beginning of the video, there are NO standardized rules for houses. They can mean different things for you in different readings. Also, different readers will use them differently.
If you're not using GTs yet, then you're getting ahead of yourself by thinking too hard about this video. You watched it. The seeds of knowledge have been planted for further use. Now, forget it and know that when you're ready to work with GTs, it will all make sense!

None of my books have been translated into any other languages as of yet. I am a self publisher and it is very expensive. I have used Google translate to translate many books for my personal use and that is what I recommend. With the free app, you can take a photo of an entire section or even an entire page and translate it easily. It’s not perfect but it works.
