    That is nice you gave him a positive answer to these cards! My interpretation was not as friendly. But I didn’t catch the key and ways as a different way to get the promotion. I seen the clouds above ways and saw the classic combo of a troubled path. I have to remember to first interpret the near/far meaning! The describe with the cards around. I keep going right into describing!

      What I can tell you is that as soon as I see problematic cards, I dissect every bit of the tableau before I decide what I’m going to tell the seeker. The cards will never give anyone only bad news. If you look hard enough, you will always see that the universe provides a silver lining!

    Hi Lisa, wonderful video! Whenever I got lost (again) on my Lenormand journey, your in-depth video really helps me regain my understanding. Please do more videos like this!!! On that note, I do have a question: you mentioned the short-lived opportunity (2) that is a wrong one to follow (14). I keep wonder if that short-lived opportunity that is seemingly wrong is the same one as the way-out resolution to his problem (which seems to be the switch to another department with the pay cut), given how close 22 and 33 is to both 2 and 14. Thus, shouldn't he go toward that alternative resolution since it can be a wrong solution to make?
    If no, then how do you tell apart when the cards referring to one thing vs two separating things? For example, in here, how do you know if the wrong opportunity (14-2) is not the same as the alternative solution (22-33) to his problem? Thank you!

      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem +1

      Hi Lilipad! Ok, the Fox falling near tells him that something is masked - it isn't what it appears. It's paired with the Clover that represented the first opportunity that popped up for him that he thought was his way out, but he wasn't seeing this path clearly (Ways and Clouds above his head). He didn't get the promotion, so the cards were correct. Because he stood on the solution, he knew he could find another way. I want you to think about what you're asking, "how do you know if the wrong opportunity (14-2) is not the same as the alternative solution (22-33) to his problem?" If the cards are telling you that a move is the wrong one to make, then how can it also be right? If the seeker is contemplating an action, and the cards say it's wrong but offer hope that there's another way - then there's another way - a different way - not the original way which is wrong. Does that make sense?

    Hello Lisa,
    I have a question regarding interpreting cards using the MOD (Method of Distance) in a grand tableau. Specifically, I'm trying to make sense of the first three cards in my spread, which are Anchor, Whip, and Key. These three cards are Very Far from the seeker card, and I'm uncertain about the best way to interpret them.
    Option 1:
    One approach I'm considering is interpreting these combinations based on the true meanings of the cards. For example, this could be seen as "A disagreement related to a goal or desire, with a potential solution in the current context of the spread."
    Option 2:
    Another approach I'm considering is adjusting the meanings of the cards based on their positions relative to the seeker card. In this case, it might translate to something like "The goals or desires (Anchor) won't be achieved, and there may be conflicts or disagreements (Whip) without immediate solutions within the spread."
    I've noticed that you've applied option 2 in one of your videos (although I can't recall which one). So, my question is, would it be correct to use option 2?
    Thank you very much for your guidance!

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Ok, option one is correct. The first 3 cards begin the story of the complete tableau. Consider your time frame. Now, interpret the cards as you normally would (as you did in option 1). Now, consider the distance as saying that this is where your story begins, but it isn't significant enough to require your attention at this time (shown by your nearest cards). Cards that are out of reach still maintain their core meanings - they don't suddenly have an opposite meaning. They simply are out of your reach - out of your control - don't require your energy right now - or are something you're moving away from or have already left behind but still impacting your current situation. I hope that makes sense.

    • @Rohalbet
      @Rohalbet Před 8 měsíci

      @lisaloveslenormand6357 thanks :) So basically the distance rule is just another layer of interpretation on top of the core meanings of the cards :) Would love a video about this in the future! :)

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Not exactly. MOD is the entire system. Card meanings stay the same regardless of the system you're using - for example, if you decided to lay a past, present, future GT using houses rather than MOD, your card meanings wouldn't change. I have several MOD videos - even a playlist. My second book is the instruction manual for the MOD GT.store.bookbaby.com/book/the-petit-lenormand-traditional-grand-tableau (it's also available on Kindle). Click on the channel name (Lisa Loves Lenormand) and go to the playlists tab and you'll see Method of Distance. czcams.com/play/PLOYf5vV15MHYMsf4HDjFvVZBU3iD9Rvn7.html. You can also type Method of Distance into the search bar. I hope that helps! 🙂

    I’m really confused about the ways. When I look at the PLOT I read it as the escape route or the way out is read if the Card is far from the seeker. I believe in another video you said that you and Bjorn read it differently. Can you clarify this please? Also, did you get the name the ways for card 22 from Mary K. Greer‘s book?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před 5 měsíci

      I'll clear up your confusion right now. Yes, there are two different ways to interpret the card as per the Method of Distance - Bjorn and I see it as being favorable when near. Andy Boroveshengra sees it as favorable when far. Decide which one makes sense to you and always use it that way. As for the name, I really don't remember how I came up with the name "Ways" but if Mary wrote a Lenormand book, I'm not aware of it! What book are you referring to?

      Of course, but I need to know what is that you don't understand. How to do it? It's the same as in chess, you move out 2 spaces and look at the cards on either side of that card. So, if you move up 2 spaces, the then look at the card to the left and the card to the right of that card. You then combine them and because these cards fall above, they provide more information on what's influencing the card you started with. If you move ahead (to the right) of a card that you want more information on, you'll be gathering more information on what the situation is moving toward. You count to the right 2 spaces and then look at the card above and the card below this card. Does that help?
