    After binging your videos and reading both your books, I now feel quite confident in growing my Lenormand readings! Thank you! Your books are absolutely fantastic … fun, approachable, educational and inspiring! I had purchased a popular author’s book last year but it left me feeling completely flat and I hadn’t gone any further with Lenormand - until I found yours! I realize I’ve already commented a lot on many of your videos so just wanted to state my enthusiasm for your books as well. 😊

      Wonderful! You more senses you employ in learning, the better! In the end, it's your actual practicing that will truly teach you. Nothing teaches better than doing!

    Thank u so much Lisa, wonderful tutorial as always. Just curious what r the instances, if any, when the Scythe or other negative cards may be actually beneficial? For example the Coffin when u r looking / waiting for an ending

      You're very welcome, Karina. Remember that the energy of the cards is either positive, neutral, or negative all to varying degrees. Within the context of any reading, a positive card can be unfavorable to a degree regarding the question just as a negative card can be somewhat favorable. Consider the Scythe indicating a breakup between two people in a bad relationship or the Mice gnawing away at the challenges of the Mountain. The point here is that you'd rather see favorable cards such as the Sun or Stork to change these events rather than the Scythe which is risky in its action or the Mice who remove things but leave a mess behind. The Coffin brings an end to what precedes it, but it's a low and depressed ending that drains the life out of you. In this case, you want to see favorable cards following it to bring the energy back up. Does that make sense?

    Hi Lisa! How would the Scythe, and Mouse cards describe a person's personality? I performed a reading recently to describe what my future partner would look, and act like. Thanks!

      This is from one of my blog posts on descriptive meanings that is now in the files section of the FB group: Scythe: dangerous, aggressive, sharp-tongued, belligerent (combative, hostile, assertive), blunt, daredevil, extreme/radical, self-seeking. Dating feelings: feels shocked insecure, with an urgent need to cut ties. Mice: nervous, anxious, irritable, has hidden vices, a taker not a giver. Dating feelings: feels something is missing and has a gnawing bad feeling about the relationship. Now, what do you think?

    Does the Scythe mean "an unexpected event"?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  Před rokem +2

      Don't pigeonhole any card to represent anything that specific. This is a common error in modern-day usage. An example is seeing the Snake as a woman when is only refers to dangerous complications and entanglements. The Scythe is the warning card that suggests danger and risk. It's action is swift , hasty, hostile, radical, threatening, and the results are irreparable. As per your question, it can warn against a risky or dangerous unexpected event. Unfortunately, many new readers are using at a card for anything sudden and unexpected, thereby removing the warning element of the card. The Snake is also unexpected and the Clover is also sudden. The Bouquet can also be an unexpected gift or offer. The Birds can represent startling events which happen suddenly.
