Not true cause the in the Result quotes, Nappa quickly realized Vegeta was a Super Saiyan. The problem with Nappa is he's too hasty to get the job done, once you turn on his "vengence" or "anger" switch it never goes off and his emotions get the better of him. He's an idiotic short fuse

It would only be better if all of Nappa's lines are normally done by Phil Parson and, for only this one line, Curtis Arnott took over. And then we go right back to Phil Parson and everyone pretends nothing happened.
Really shows how far Vegeta has come when he's willing to admit an Earthling can fight a Saiyan. Granted, he justifies it as a fact, but Vegeta still gave Tien credit for exceeding, or at least matching, a member of the warrior race he's proud of.

Its things like these that actually make me feel sorry for Nappa. All he did was try and serve his best friend Vegeta (or so he thought) as best as possible. He lets his authority over most species get into his head and therefore gave him this infant-like character were he isnt afraid of anyone. In the end, after trying his best, he gets killed by his only friend...

I mean, Nappa is canonically the weakest character in this game. Gameplay wise, he hits incredibly hard. Still, he hasn’t gotten a type of boost at all, so he will not win against Tien or even Yamcha.

Tien easily crushed one of the Ginyu force's member. I think it was Recoome, and that was a long time ago. Tien currently has to be atleast Perfect Cell level.

I'm so used to how hilarious and likeable Nappa is in the abridged series, I forget that he was just a savage bully in the actual canon.
And Vegeta pretty much was the bigger one and treated Nappa as his pet. Vegeta got the luxury of mercy that he refused Nappa, I don’t blame the big guy for wanting payback (even though in Vegeta’s eyes Nappa being dead was preferable than being a paraplegic)
