Ultra Omen Murat when kid buu tried attacking hercule on the supreme kai planet fat buu was still inside of kid buu and was preventing him from being able to kill hercule. Which is what caused kid buu to spit up fat buu so he can no longer be restrained by anything
Fat buu spit up evil buu who ate fat buu and absorbed him thus creating super buu. Then super buu absorbed gotenks and piccolo and then gohan. Then goku and vegeta free them as well as free fat buu which turned super buu into kid buu.

Basically in one verse Buu absorbed Goku and Vegeta, then gaining the love for earth he wishes it back and everyone else, then absorbed Bulma for intelligence. He then spends the rest of time going around the universe collecting and absorbing the best in the universe at whatever, like Music, Cooking, Etc.
He sure came a long way from a mindless killing machine that also happens to be evil incarnate. I do like Zen Buu.

i really love the concept of majin buu and his many forms each buu was soo unique, kid buu was the original and the most dangerous and the most unpredictable yet the most childish which is obviously in his name. Super buu from his first form to buuhan was the most powerful forms of the buus and the more serious and intellegent as he kept absorbing everyone. Then we have fat buu who is the good buu of the bunch although he is also an idiot lol at first he was "evil" but thanks to mr satan and even the little dog/puppy fat buu became much more kind to an extent.

It is worth noting that while Chris Sabat (being a well-known TFS fan) did head up the English script, Arc System Works also already has a habit of heavily lampshading their own characters in their original games, so this kind of thing isn't too far out of the ordinary for them.
