They either means the the waves either suppressed their power so lower that they shouldn’t even be putting up a fight against anyone. Especially if android 21 is no suppressed by the waves. And this also means vegeta would be weaker than nappa. Because he is in super sayain. If he was in base form the waves would make him weaker than Nappa? Or some how the waves raised peoples power levels and lowered others. And had little to no effect on some. So no this doesn’t explain a damn thing no does it make sense.

Dakeous Woods it makes it clear early on that the stronger you are the more the waves suppress you. So yes, goku and vegeta need to be super saiyan to keep up with people who are usually weaker

Actually GT was fairly accurate, the outcome of these two meeting at full power is the exact outcome of what GT portrays.
We meant by their interaction towards each other considering it was Vegeta smack talking and Nappa just grunts without saying a single word.
Yeah that makes sense though, why would Nappa wast time talking and not go into a fit of rage at the sight of Vegeta. I love every single interaction is this game they are all just fan service, they do nothing but give the characters quips to swap back and forth.

Raditz would have been perfect for this. He's low key one of my favorite villains and having all of these guys at the same power level would have been a perfect excuse for Raditz to be in the game. The story line banter would have been amazing, especially seeing Raditz react to Gohan all grown up and his brother as a super Saiyan. Seeing him interact with Vegeta and Nappa would have been new even by the anime's standards, and watching how he reacts to Frieza could have been golden. There's so much lost fan service by excluding Raditz from the game. What a missed opportunity.

What cut content are you even talking about? The game is a full game already, not all DLC that comes out mean that they left it out.
Rohan Kishibe and 『Heaven's Door』 Notice that fighting games these days have a bizzare tendency to announce DLC characters months before the game is released. DBZF is no difference and the DLC cut characters names and IDs are already on the disc but won't be unlocked until a certain date.

I cant remember if it was before or after this games release but in a Dragon Ball Heroes episode it was shown that Vegeta actually regrets or at least considers killing nappa as evil when he has a flashback on his actions when Turles goes on a rant about saiyans nature being evil.
Training requires humility. To do that... That would have meant Nappa, a stubborn fool who loved murder, had changed.

It would have been more realistic and interesting if Nappa's rage at Vegeta's murderous betrayal let him to at least unlock SSJ1. Picture Nappa flaunting his new power in front of Vegeta only for him to casually go SSB and make Nappa irrelevant all over again. That would make this scene that much more entertaining.
Unfortunately, Nappa lacks the one thing needed to become a Super Saiyan....

I always hoped that if they ever brought Nappa back and he interacted with Vegeta, that it would actually be a difficult topic for Vegeta given that he got confronted by one of the most vile things he did in his past, the betrayal and cold blooded murder of a loyal friend who helped raise him since he was a kid. Guess I expected too much given that Vegeta pretty much has no emotions aside from anger and arrogance anyway.

Goku was able to toy with nappa and Vegeta was above even that. Nappa wasn't sucker punched he was just THAT outclassed.
Krillin vs Goku could be one of the best fights ever, even more if they added some flashbacks of Dragon Ball classic, they used to be rivals before Vegeta and Goku cared so much for him that his death is what turned him into a Super Saiyan.

Really...why IS Nappa so confident? I'm pretty sure that Vegeta's base power is like: hundreds of thousands of times greater than his at this point. Even if the waves are nerfing everyone, I doubt it nerfs everyone to the exact same level. Even assuming that Vegeta gets nerfed to the same level, going super saiyan would multiply his nerfed power by 50.
Super Saiyan multiplier isn't an explicit 50. Its some vague number between 10 and 50. 50 was an exaggeration according to Toriyama.
I'm pretty sure the waves nerf characters so at the very least, they can't just face tank a punch from the weaker guys like Yamcha and Nappa. Like Vegeta might still be faster and stronger and obviously more experienced, but under the waves, he'll still have to properly fight Nappa rather than throw a half-assed punch to knock him out.

That doesn't really matter though either way Super Saiyan or not Vegeta is way out of Nappa's league. Even by the Saiyan Saga if a concentrated blast by Vegeta can kill Nappa then by this point a simple ki blast or blast wave by Vegeta will kill Nappa easily and that's all because while Vegeta trained for those 20 years, Nappa was stuck in Hell being brutally tortured the Onis and Angels that work for King Yemma, so he couldn't give himself the proper training what so ever.
Besides Nappa's flaw is that he relies too much on power levels and less on his opponents combatant skills. Vegeta is an expert in combat and since Nappa was suffering in Hell still he fails miserably.
