- Im taking an artistic approach to sharing one day of my life here on our new property in Costa Rica. Days go by so fast and there is so much to get done. I can only barely keep up to the challenges let alone make headway on any projects. Will i one day be able to say I built a jungle homestead?
Que lindo o seu cão está sempre perto de você!
Thanks for the video. Thx for showing us the real story. Stay tough
Did Jimmy Buffet have a song about this? If not, he should have. At least your dog is right there by your side. Cheers and have some beers
Building your own Pura Vida ❤
Don’t give up. You’re beautiful and stronger than you think! God bless you.
Strength is deep inside. True. We are all capable of more than we believe
Looks so beautiful, lush and green!! 🌿💚🌿 Also looks like you may need to invite some friends down to lend a helping hand. 🖐 Sounds like you have a great neighbor!! 👍 He sounds really pura vida! 🎉
You are doing a great job, don't give up! Remember you are incredibly resilient and you can make this happen. Look how far you have come, don't give up!
How much does he owe? Maybe it would be worth it to pay the balance owing on his electric bill so you can have power. In a few years you will look back on this video and be amazed at what you have accomplished and how far you have come. You are a strong warrior woman living in Costa Rica, how cool is that!
I love how your dog is right in the path of where you are working. I have the same problem with my dogs 😆. Sending positive vibes from Canada
Wow! your kind words mean so much. Thank you! Yes..i keep telling myself that in a few years i will look back, and say ya, that was hard. But isnt that the history of all great success? Thank you Jules!
Sending so much strength and positivity to you Mary, you are doing amazing! I have been following your journey since your first “border run” with your Mom. I have all the faith in the world that you can do anything you set your mind to. Keep focusing on your short term goals, take time for yourself even though the days go by at lightning speed and there’s so much to accomplish, just take a moment here and there for gratitude and self appreciation. You have made it so far and are living a life most can only dream about. You got this!
Also, I’m in love with how your dog is always so close by, watching out for you, what a sweetheart ❤
Thank you so much for your encouragement and kind words. It means a lot! Ive tried to refocus and step back a bit, focusing on improving the house and letting some outdoor work wait. And yes, learning to give myself some relax time and know that its ok to take a day off!! Thanks for watching!
Keep up the great work!!! 🙌😎 pura vida!
In those areas is good to use some rubber boots for rain and snakes, the area looks nice everything grow in those areas. I tell you that is better than go to the gym , fresh air ,. When things are done with purpose and love sure you going to do great. Good luck!
I am enjoying watching your videos and progress, I am hoping you are doing well happy new year Mary🙋♂️
Hi, keep going. I'm arriving to begin my project in January, up in Bijagua de Upala on a small parcel adjacent to the land of some expat friends. So I will have local cohorts, but still on my own, on my own place. So my question for you is, do you feel like there is anything you wanted to do, that you cant because of laws? Like power generation via solar or whatever, or any other rules? I haven't seen any problems with the things I hope to do, but curious what your experience has been in the thick of it in current times for doing "off grid" things. I know I have water covered legally via a community shared water coop locally on my spot but other things, like power, outdoor fire cooking, rain water collection, things like that, any problems from your experience with that sort of homesteading stuff in rural areas? Thanks.
Girl if I were you, I would wear boots and protective clothing because I could imagine there are a ton of snakes and creepy crawlers there…be careful
Take it one day at a time and before you know it the whole place looks wonderful and its home.
Ur super women . 👍👍👍👍👍
wow, your resilience and perseverance will surely bring positive results...make sure you eat right even if it means having small meals 4 xs a day with your physical activities you are using more energy than your body is accustomed to,,,what area of c.r. are you located in ?
Hey Doug Thanks for commenting and with positive feedback! I am in Cartago Province up in the mountains. learning to eat more!!

I wish you the best but guard your belongings
sounds like you messed up, if you paid before you got what you paid for.
Wishing you to stay strong. Remember in hard times you would be treated like a prisoner in Canada. Insanity is coming back... "Titanic" is sinking but people are "dancing". Heartbreaking .. All the best from (to weak to leave) 65 years old Polish/Canadian who has never allowed to be muzzled by politburo.
maybe you should start eating meat
