When the Renault stops through hydrolocking you may appreciate the forces acting on the engine and the drivetrain. It just stops dead and bounces backwards....

4:15 alfa 159 has a air filter in front of the right wheel, like about 20cm above the ground. It was terrible decision.

Isn't that steel truck they're using to jump the van a 24V truck? Did the water not do enough damage, now they're trying to finish it off?
Maybe it has two 12V batteries? If you connect the jump leads to only one of them, it should work fine.

Agree, I’m just glad it was a 4 cylinder and not a Busso V6.
What you need with a petrol engine is to have a can of WD40 or similar handy to spray in the distributor cap. Also putting silicon grease in all of the plug lead connections BEFOREHAND.
Next thing is to not go too fast as that throws water all over the engine including the air intake.

even if you dont stall and make it through, the chances of getting water into the cabin or the AC, where you can get mold and smell is huge.. why take the risk of ruining the value of your car? i dont understand it.

Походу заезжать в глубокую лужу это местная забава😂! Кто дальше проедет на заведённом двигателе! Совет как можно сильнее разогнаться перед лужой и глушить мотор, может получится проехать до другого берега и не убить мотор😂😂😂😂! Но я так же не понимаю зачем они пытаются завести мотор, когда в нём вода, сначала нужно выкрутить свечи, продуть цилиндры, что бы мотор не крякнул🤦♂️! Да и вообще не понимаю куча людей и не кто не предупреждает людей об опасности!

I can't even imagine how someone could be so stupid. Such roads always flood after rain, so why can't builders increase the height of the road above the ground to avoid such problems?
