- ● Krispy Kreme Doughnut Recipe is Light and fluffy donuts topped with a rich glaze that will melt in your mouth. Tastes as good as the store-bought Krispy Kremes!
Important ⚠️ do you know that the glaze is one of the hardest mixtures that I ever tried?
first, you have to maintain the temperature when dipping a donut. because once it's cooled down, it will become thick, also when you heat it in a microwave it will become thin, so be careful. Use hot milk and pour 1 spoon at a time to make sure that you will not ruin the consistency.

🍩Ingredients
▪︎Doughnuts
• All-Purpose Flour 250g/ 1-1/2 cups + 1tbsp
• Active Dry Yeast 5g/ 1/3 tsp
• Sugar 40g/ 1/3 cup
• Salt 3g/ 1/4 tsp
• Nutmeg 1/4tsp (can be omitted)
• Warm Milk 130g/ 130ml
• Whole Egg 1pc
• Softened Butter 20g/ 1-1/2 tbsp
▪︎Glaze
• Powdered Sugar 240g/ 2 cups
• Melted Butter 75g/ 1/3cups
• Vanilla Extract 1/2tsp
• Milk 6tbsp
Instructions
1. First let's make our dough. Stir together warm milk, a little amount of sugar, and yeast and let bloom for about 5 minutes.
2. Merge together the rest of the sugar, flour, nutmeg. knead until smooth about 7-8 minutes and then adjoin the butter and fully knead until just smooth.
3. Form the dough into a large ball and oil it to prevent the skin from forming. Then put it in a covered bowl and keep it in a warm place for about 1.5-2 hours.
4. Roll the dough into a log then equally cut yield about 7pcs of donuts but you can weigh in at 60g each for the perfect size. Roll the dough into a ball and flatten it in floured parchment paper separately. Let rise again for about an hour, until doubled or tripled in volume.
5. Once the dough rises cut the middle of the donut using a piping tip.
6. Heat 1½ inches of oil in a heavy pot to 350F. To fry donuts, drop one at a time and allow to become golden before turning to the other side, about 1-2 minutes per side.
12. Transfer to paper towels or wire rack to drain, Let cool.
13. Prepare the glaze to combine powdered sugar, melted butter, and milk. if you saw some sugar lumps in the glaze, strain it for once to remove all the lumps.
14. Once the doughnuts are cool enough to handle, drizzle the donut glaze on top or dip the top half of the donut in and let it drip off on a wire rack. and let bit sit for 30 minutes, for best result.
