8:48 - "this is the second car I've done.... I've written one off already" has to be the definition of stupidity 😂
'This is the second car I've done in here'
Priceless
I was impressed with the fiat. It floated back to land & drove off!
None of us filming could believe it actually happened
I think it was an electric Mini. It survived now, but one knows the problems come quick.., just like with the idiot with the Tesla
Definitely not an electric one as you can see and hear the exhaust bubbling away
It had much more sense than it's driver!
WOW - ''THIS IS THE SECOND ONE IVE DONE'' - You'd think that guy would never want to set eyes on that place every again !!!?
That Mini was extremely lucky...
Yep the mini made some interesting sounds lol
@@godsucks6391I do those in the bath ..... 🤗💨
More like a boat than a Mini.
Must be real fun to live by this river-road... ;) Obviously most drivers have no clue how properly cross the river, but that Mini was epic!
The mini and the fiat 500 have to be my favourite clips I’ve caught so far
When your Sunday drive becomes a little cruise 😂
For most people, their car is the most expensive thing they own, so why risk destroying it just to shave 20 minutes off their journey? When it all goes tits up, they lose a lot more than 20 minutes ...
Yeah, but if they didn't, what are we going to laugh at?😂😂
Would imagine they gonna be disapointed when the insurance co. says NO.
Yes…..you need to not deliberately increase the risk. If the water is 3 feet deep you are negligent.
Notice how it's not youngsters in their teens and 20's that are destroying their vehicles.
It's 'supposedly' older and wiser people. 🤔🤔🤔
People just don’t understand that engines need to be able to breathe
@@VehiclesVsWater Agreed. Plus the air intake for the cabin heater is at the bottom of the windscreen.
So all those cars you see where the bow wave goes right over the bonnet are likely to fill with water via the heater vents.
"Written one off already here" How can this be insurable!?
You can’t teach stupid 🤣
You can’t teach stupid 🤣
Wonder if the Audi owner at the end was laughing when he was told the bill to drop a new engine in😂😂
You could set up an ebay shop with all the car bits that get ripped off. Great edit..love the mini, epic tekkers burbling its way to land lol
It’s just a simple fact of life, most motorists don’t realise an internal combustion engine(much like ourselves)needs to breathe, they are in effect suffocating/drowning their engines.’oh I thought the air filter and its connections only cleaned and filtered air for my heater ’😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It mad on the old cars it used to tell you how to set the points now they tell you not to drink the contents of the battery
It’s a consideration but the killer that these people don’t realise until they get the bill is that water doesn’t compress but metal does !
Yeah.. A lot of people think cars use witchcraft and the power of positive thinking to get through... They have no idea how an engine works, not even a clue which is worrying 😂
Fair play to the passenger in the Navy Blue BMW X Series. She wasn't too precious to get out and go waist deep to help get it out.
1:13 best moment!
The poor bmw
1:04 "Are you sure you are in drive dear"
I was really hoping the bmw driver wouldn’t Make it through 😂😂
He certainly didn’t disappoint 😂
All of the 'normal' cars that make it through still have buggered engines and electrics.
I certainly wouldn’t want to buy any car that’s been through all the water
@@VehiclesVsWater Would you ever dry the cabin out, let alone get rid of the smell?
@@sisyphussapprentice8976 at another ford I film at anything that gets water inside gets written off over the fear of weil’s disease
@@VehiclesVsWater Speaking as one who succumbed to Leptospirosis 30 odd years ago and survived, (just), it is not something to be taken lightly.
Why? They are sealed or the oil would leak out @LordAsney
Woman in the Fiat 500 got some sort of Angel watching after her lol how the fuck did the engine keep running after it was floating ? LOL
Ahoy there
When you think you're safe, it all goes wrong!
The blue Land Rover Defender has had a large hole cut into the bonnet lid.
This could be why they struggled to get through the same depth as the white Land Rover Defender.
That vehicle is just generally badly modified and maintained. It’s unusual for that engine to be that sensitive to water. Suspect it’s a badly installed engine conversion with the air intake in a vulnerable position.
No wonder insurance premiums are going up!
If the roads closed they won’t pay out
Keep up the excellent work Craig, another super video. 😊
Thanks 👍will try
I love the way people think that revving the engine hard is the way to keep it going 🤪
BMW = Brought My Wellies! 😂
I can cope with the videos but it’s the local accents that give me wind! Oh and the fact they’re all experts and pundits!
And our premiums go up because of these Muppets...
Can’t believe that mini made it
I was really impressed with that mini
Really chuffed for the fiat 500 driver.
It was very surprising 🤔
I thought it was an electric 500 which will be fine
@@Tom55data I would imagine an electric 500 would be too heavy to float like the 500 in the video did.
Hi.. Is this from a flooding that happen yesterday? Or just an old video compilation?
Another legendary video. Be 100k subs by next year. With the bank of content now 😂 years worth of brand new unseen content
I hope so
Didn’t realise how much was kept in the archives 😂
I still fail to understand why anyone, no matter what vehicle they drive, would even attempt to drive through 3 foot of water. Especially the "fresh food" van who should now write "notso" in front.
They must be desperate to be on "telly".
Did the disco at 6:10, who elected to take the "scenic route", ever return or is it in the middle of morecambe bay now?
He took the wrong river 😂.
If your air intake sucks in water it’s goodbye engine, water can’t be compressed and you’ll be looking at bent con rods and a massive bill. Some of these people must know absolutely nothing about how engines work.
I thought they closed down Ruffords Ford? Is it back open?
Announced today that the council are closing this road permanently.
I did hear that’s the preferred solution but thats still got to be finalised.
I believe that takes place towards the end of February
All that is needed is some simple traffic lights to slow traffic down, and both directions can be set to red full time if the road is closed due to being too flooded.
Maybe people think they'll multi task and wash th3 car on the way home. 😂
What came off the Ford Ranger at 7:16? 😮
Note to engineering, relocate the water intake.
Another excellent video Craig 👍🏻
Cheers dude
All those jeeps and no one have a air filter on the roof
Car made in japanese verry good😊....
Human evolution right there, damage, cost, and plain ignorance.
4:44 the food wont be fresh more just pre cleaned
The man has smoked 2 cars 3rd time lucky hey...be lucky..
Does white smoke mean major repairs?
It means there’s a new pope……
Not necessarily, but probably. It’s usually steam from the ingested water.
depends how much water gets into the engine, water doesnt compress well in the cylinders
Often white steam/smoke is water on the air filter as minimum. But it’s certainly not ideal if you’ve travelled through water and have it 😅
Yes it's called being a complete knob. And not knowing why you car breaks down every 2 weeks. But have flash backs of when they hit heavy water.. 4 months ago. Some people should wear bump Hats in there cars
How tf did the Ford manage that 😮
I’m as surprise as you on that
The back end started to float too
08:40 You never learn I guess….
Lol😂
Two feet by the roadside gauge seems to be the limit for most cars. Some cannot ford two feet without making waves that flood the vital areas of the engine.
The local recovery services in that area must be seriously minted. How can I get a job there?
Ani have an engine rebuild please.
Engines are just throgh away, you can just get a new one.
why people not trying to pump out the water but instead of watching and laughing!
There is a road around this
They closed Rufford Ford now about 12 months ago, so we don't get to see the road going geniuses that believe their vehicles are fish!
Vehicles Vs Water, ( Morons Incorporated )
People have nothing better to do and stand and watch people get their cars destroyed in the water
BMW….Big Minge Wheels…😂
Where are the intakes of these Carpenter/Sprinter style vans? They near always seem to perform absolutely awfully, even if they are going at an appropriate speed
I think it pretty low down might even be in the wheels arch but they are useless in any amount of water
Linker Radkasten
I wonder whether insurance companies watch this stuff. If they do. Omg those drivers will have no insurance!!!
So many fools don’t know how to drive through water
.
The electric vehicles reign supreme. Even the land rovers are struggling
I’ve not seen one fail yet but when them battery seals start to let the water in it’s going to be interesting
Its Brilliant watching loads of these idiots wreck there cars lol the 4x4s with the engine snorkels do the best.
What causes the white smoke on diesel engines?
Water in the combustion camber
Thanks, so this is hydro lock in a car then?@@VehiclesVsWater
Es ist ganz wichtig wenn der Motor schon verreckt ist und getötet das Getriebe auch noch zu zerstören samt dem Differenzial1.33
They must not have had the technology to build a little bridge back in the day and it seems in 2023 they haven't advanced much further. The Romans built aquaducts to shift water!
What is wrong with people are they crazy I wonder if they try to claim on there insurance unbelievable
See, turds do float, !!!!!!!!!!
for those who made it through....youl have problems later on. its interesting to see how we stan their and film it instead of deterring people to go through. the effort between 5 people could solve all those peoples problems. but its ok....we thrive on entertainment and YES people must learn from their behaviour but some dont. what to do???
Was this really filmed in England?
I didn't see a black face anywhere....
