One of the very few guitarists on CZcams who understands and can teach John McLaughlin’s style and technique

Absolutely the best guitar teacher on CZcams. For more advanced players, I must add. Thanks yet again, Clifford.

Likewise, Clifford.
Very nice illustration backed by soulful playing
Thanks Raju, Appreciated!👍
Couldn't stop listening to it over and over. A beautiful scale and your flawless playing makes it sound even more beautiful, Mr. Cliff. Reminds me of the score from 'The Oppenheimer' movie.
Thanks Joshua, yeah, it's a lovely sound and really brings the resonance out of the guitar. I haven't heard the score of the The Oppenheimer' movie, but I'll give it a listen👍
Booooo🎉❤

Merci beaucoup !!!😊
Merci Pascal!👍
Great Video Cliff!! You give so many possibilities of how to use the pentatonic scale and arpeggios mixed with a few other notes. It changes the whole vibe of the pentatonic!! Thank you!
Thanks Gabriel! Yeah, there are so many variations on any one idea with this composition. 👍

Thanks elboschable! 👍👍
Very good both in the explanation and in playing... if I can ask you what guitar you use in the video... it has a wonderful sound!
Hi Thanks! The guitar is a Taylor ns54CE. It's a 2006 early model of the Taylor nylon string series.👍👍👍
@@CliffordMartinOnline Thank you, you were very kind to answer... I wish you all the best!
great video as always.............is your guitar output going straight to logic or some other daw? I don't see a cord but the reverb is high on it but not your voice so it cant just be the mic recording both
Hi, well spotted! I actually record the guitar and voice in one mic [RodeNt1a] which is recorded with Camo/video through an iPhone. I then edit the video in iMovie.....After this I import the video into LogicX and then literally cut the audio into separate tracks..... So, the guitar parts are cut up into a reverb track and the voice parts cut up into a vocal compressor track....it can be quite a lot of patient and detailed work.... but, it's the only way I can get a decent acoustic guitar sound and a decent/clear vocal sound at the same time....👍
