Explanation is very good. With that mobo photos, probes, voltage values on the coils, showing on schematics or boardviews, etc.. really clear technique to understand.. good work .. keep that format on your channel and im sure you will have many members this way..

Thank you for explaining this so clearly, slowly and methodically, learnt so much, liked and subbed... what are the implications of bypassing the first mosfet, is this a temporary fix until the replacement mosfet arrives? Also please can you explain how we can measure resistance between drain, source, gate to confirm the mosfet is indeed faulty.

After bios update i got this problem as I had imagined, there are no battery problems because today I accidentally discovered that when the PC tells me that the battery is low, I tried to turn the PC back on and despite the battery indicator telling me 0%, it's more than 1 hour that I'm using it. But now in this situation I don't realize when the PC will shut down, because from 1 hour it tells me 0%. It couldn't possibly be a battery problem because it happened overnight. Now, however, I have this problem that the PC shuts down after 20 minutes because it believes the battery is low, when it isn't. What can I do

It's difficult to give advice without seeing your laptop. With the fault described here, there was a short on the board, which caused the laptop to not switch on. However your laptop may have no display for other reasons. I guess the first thing to try would be to see if the power lights come on, and maybe connect an external monitor to see if it sending video to that.

Shorted capacitor fried the power mosfet, so they both needed replacing.
