"The greatest technician that ever lived" is the other guy.
@@harrislawrence5250 You are an asshat who posts mean comments with horrible grammar for no apparent reason

maybe you don't have a big house with pool, but you are a real PRO.
Less annoying as well
Ohh ! A hater !
🤌
Who is the guy with the big house and pool?
@@FUJISHIR0and why is he a hater?
I can confidently say Tony, you are probably one of the best gpu technicians out there. That card came if for not working and not only did you solve that problem but you also fixed cosmetic problems too. The attention to detail is what makes you good.
Not only that he even solved mechanical problem with the fan
He is a god 😶🌫️
agreed man this guys is very good at what he does u can just tell
Tony Stark?
If he's going to put this thing on eBay, it needs to be "like new". :-)
That will be $200 extra for the bashing out of the metal frame or you can have it back unassembled (if he was ASUS) ;)
Noooo way 😂 my 4090 has it's own NWR video!!! Thanks for the awesome service T! Best in the biz!
What's your favorite game currently?
@@utrak tetris
I play minesweeper with that bad boy 😈
What did you do to the card? do you mind sharing the cost?
😮
Ha! “Don’t let that scare you from buying one… or two…”
Jenson Huang would agree! “The more you buy, the more you save!” he proclaimed.
The more you buy the more leather Jensen buys.
The more you buy, the more unit he can fix in the future
😢
An excellent repair indeed.
still probably cost a lot of money I agree with technician though why the heck would you try to reflow the core that way that has a worrse success rate than the oven method
it is not a repair. Problably going to get toasted in a few months. Then after a few hours then afteer a few minutes. Reflow is not repair. It is a purgatory cycle of lies.
You fixed one of my rtx 3060 gpus recently. No shit you’re one of the best repair guys on CZcams. Thanks again Tony 🤘🏼
You fixed that waste of sand? Jeez
@@tlv8555 the alternative option is spending even more to buy a new one or a higher end model. A repair is the most cost efficient option
@tlv8555 I run a 2060 in my main pc to this day because it does all i need it to do, not every usecase requires a 4090, and when i upgrade Ill convert this one into an egpu for my laptop, the 3060 is fine, not great but no waste of sand in my eyes (that award goes to cards like the 4060 or GTX 1630)
🙌
@@tlv8555Just to be clear I have 5 desktop PCs and a laptop. 7900x/7900xtx, 13900k/3080Ti, 7800x3D/4070, 12700k/2080super and a 4790k/980Ti and a 12700H/3050Ti laptop. Actually I lied I have 6 desktops because the single fan itx 3060 he fixed for me, is in an itx build with a 12100F oc’d to 5.1ghz and 7200mhz DDR5. Cost me $125 to fix plus the $50 fee for faster service. Sorry I don’t meet your expectations for GPU repair services.
Hello. I don't usually post but I wanted to thank you for these videos. For me they are like therapy after a stressful shift. I only wish you could post more/longer videos. Keep it up
It took all day to make this video.
Any longer and I will lose my mind making videos.
One of your best so far, great vid.
👏
just speed it down...and insert a track or two of crazygood 8bit music
Everytime you say "No picture" it literally sends jolts down my spine as another drama folds on what could be possibly wrong with the damn thing great vid as always
This is not a work!
This is ART!!!😮
You're an artist.
It’s a craft not an art but ok
4:19 what a simply BEAUTIFUL shot
mmm yes macro focus and everything
You're very knowledgeable and skillful...... Love watching your videos!!
Thanks !
this guy makes reballing like something easy even relaxing. what a legend
you're not doing a repair job or making a repair video !!
you're doing an art and this is a masterpiece 🔥🔥
why do people steal the simplest comments?
Now **THIS** is what I consider 'better than factory ...'! Well done sir :)
Excellent repair! That last bit where the PCI connector was dirty would have totally gotten me. After such a detailed repair, it's funny to see the littlest thing almost bringing this whole repair down.
My Man!!! Every time I watch a video like this of yours, I find myself amazed not only with your skill but with your bloody patience. I hope I will never need your services but if I do, I'm glad you are out there.
Your skill, patience, and passion for solving the problem is incredible. Thank you for doing this work, keeping cards out of the landfill and sharing some beautiful videos with the rest of us.
Your video is gold explaining and showing how to use all the equipment in the shortest time possible.
I saw a lot of repairs done by you; all of them demonstrates that you’re a Maestro, something like a great watchmaker, giving attention even to the minimal detail. In this particular case, you even surpassed this level of dexterity and detail. Congrats! (I have a PhD in electronic engineering).
I'm not surprised that Tony fixed this one too! He has a methodical approach, no nonsense, people at certain age only care for real professionalism! That's why I watch his videos!
Watching your videos gives me hope for repairing these cards and with so many people trying to do this and failing. People need to understand and listen to you when it comes to guides . I think all your videos are great and i would like to thank you for sharing the knowledge. Great Work on all your video. Cheers
you've earned my subscription with this one...your attention to details and fixing the cosmetic issue with the corner was impressive. Great work!
Such a good repair shop.
As you address every single problem, instead of just fixing the problem it was brought in for.
Pure artistry and genius in action. Such a joy to watch a professional at work. The gaming world salutes you!
It is so satisfying to see a person who performs their profession in such an excellent manner.
I didn't understand any of the processes you did but watching you repair it was so satisfying! Great job 👍🏻
Incredible work. Reballing that core was insane - hundreds of contacts. Very impressive.
This level of expertise is not very common. I used to do board repair and this just amazes me.
Indeed it's not. Even 'conventional' SMD repair is already something at work I know by now (my hobby-experience with simple SOIC stuff, 0603 resistors and such benefits me greatly at work where I'm about the most experienced SMD guy)
I've got Fineplacer automated SMD placement and removal soldering devices to my disposal as well and learned to work with them by now. The first time I saw a J-lead device (PLCC chip) being placed I stayed around to watch. Absolutely awesome to see the solder melt and at some point see the chip sink down onto the PCB with the solder just wetting beautifull between pins and IC.
We can't do BGA's yet (aviation electronics is a very conservative field of work) but I'm sure time is all it takes until we do get the stuff to do BGA's and I'm eager to try it as soon as possible ;) . Fortunately, we also have an X-ray machine to inspect soldered BGA's ;)
@@weeardguy it true it is cool to see the chips Float into place when done right.
Beautiful craftsmanship, I always find it fascinating to watch a real professional at work. Also great video, it’s quite mesmerizing to watch the sped up portions. Excellent work!
Always amazed at how you figure out these problems. I've been hooked on these videos ever since I had to get someone to fix my 3070. Great work as always! :)
nothing short of Labour of love .. thats one lucky 4090 FE. whoever sent that you if he watching give this man a big tip.
Outstanding as Always 💯😁👌👏
the attention to details cleaning the board the stress test I just love your work man good job
Always nice to see an artist at work.
Thank you.
Man, this card REALLY didn't want to work. Great job.
Working or not, anyone who disrespects a 4090 by not even bothering to package it properly, does not deserve a 4090.
Awesome video, thanks brother.
I’ve worked in Amazon and FedEx warehouses for years if the workers don’t beat the packages up the conveyor belts sure do.
@@Menky90 lol. We need more insights like this to help our critical thinking!
The time lapse of the Rebol was art. Well done
That was actually quite emotional, seeing the actual brilliance and skill, dealing with a 4090 like a surgeon, Amazed me that did. Thanks pal.
While we come home at night and reflect on our lives with all our hopes and dreams, you are making hopes and dreams a reality for a vast number of GPU owners. Have you ever considered that countless of people turn to therapy or medications, but instead they could benefit from watching your videos? Keep it up Tony. You bring joy and extreme happiness to us all. Russ
With his skill and knowledge and attention to detail.
There's only one downside after I started watching this channel. Which is...
He isn't in my country, I couldn't find anyone willing to reball anything in my country :(

They have their own in-house people who can do similar repairs - the problem is, when you have a manufacturing line that can spit out new cards, there are limits to what is economically feasible and it is hard to provide same reliability from reworks/repairs vs. new. 4090 and higher priced pro cards have changed the equation somewhat, so it happens more these days, but back when high end GPU was
why would they do that? their profits would be cut in half because he would tell them to stop designing the cards like crap.
Rtx 5150 will drive us all crazy
Especially the EVH model.
Do you mean 5090 with the 3 PCBs
Dude, you have some serious repair skills. Quite enjoyable to watch.
Incredibly detailed, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Class act. Well done!
How long did this repair take you?????? You do amazing work......
Not sure, all day i guess.
Hopefully the 5090 doesn't have these issues anymore
