As someone who's on the autism spectrum and deals with social anxiety, I have a lot of respect for Zach. He's someone who succeded in life not only in spite of his mental health struggles, but because of his personality and quirks that others might find aloof or odd. He's someone who's completely and unapologetically himself. I hope when he retires he gets to play golf barefoot, and work as a garbage man, and whatever other "weird" desires he may have. I used to play mario kart and basketball with this guy back in middle school, he never seemed to be socially awkward back then, he was kinda quiet and talked like a surfer. He dressed up as a girl for halloween one year, had a blonde wig, and lipstick. He was my friends brothers best friend during that time, this was in Orlando. My friend moved to Atlanta in 1996 and I only saw him a few more times after that because he didn't come over to that neighborhood much anymore. Sometime in 2002 I heard on the radio that he led his team to a state championship and that he was a top MLB prospect

Greinke is now poised to enter a very elite club. Scherzer got in this past season (2021). He needs 191 more strike outs to be a member (prolly 2023). 3,000 strike outs and less than 1,000 walks. Besides Scherzer, the only other members are Ferguson Jenkins, Greg Maddux, Pedro, Schilling, & Verlander. John Smoltz was a member briefly, but then he walked his 1,000th batter...
