Rules don’t mean anything, right? Part of why there’s an insurance crisis in parts of the country. Someone pays less for a homeowner policy knowing there’s no coverage for a flood but when the flood happens the insurance company is bad because they won’t cover it. Because insurance should be a charity, not a business. Agree, though, that it was nice for the team to step in.

That amount in today's dollars would be about $4,222,961 (according to an inflation calculator). That means if he got the $20 million in '93, and just put it in a bank or a non risk investment it would be worth, at minimum $4,222,961 but inflation is normally around 2% and a minimum risk investment maybe 4%..... so maybe much more.... cheers.

Did he for real day that lol. Did he live in an era when and an area where it existed? I feel dumb asking this question smh. I have seen photos of him and the furthest back year when cameras were vastly publicly available is probably 1850’s if I had to guess so then it would have to be that since surely insurance companies existed back then , that therefore it very well may have been Ghandi that did infact say that. It’s just funny I guess because it’s like he has taken ancient wisdom and paired it with modern society. Also the fact that it sounds like proverbs meets Jerry Seinfeld.
Anyone who had read this far quick question: In what era did Confuscious live? He used to express things in proverb style bits like Solomon and Ghandi would. I wonder if the Buddha s spoke like this as well…It’s almost like it sounds like someone giving a prophecy describing style delivery yet something g held to already have been established as truth instead of having the quality of having to wait and see if it comes to pass or not. Basically what’s interesting here in addition to this how then they have effectively taken the vague/unknown and established it with specificity/certainty.
Forgive my rant but my hands can’t help *thumbselves*
Sorry but the pun just came to me and I had just thought I would share my dad joke it just had to be said.
Anyways regardless of all that, good for MJ. This is integrity, character, compassion and love. He didn’t have to do any of that and not to mention on top of that he didn’t want any attention being brought to it it’s sad that attention ended up having to be brought up when they wouldn’t pay up so he was getting the scene where no good deed goes unpunished. Feels like evils of the world or otherwise and they are making you pay a tax or toll for choosing to travel the righteous way in persistence in order to dismantle an injustice.
Sometimes I just start writing and I don’t stop. I’m not sure what I should do with my life entirely right now but I would appreciate if you have read this far to let me know whether or not you think I have any ability or aptitude for writing.
