Today I went to the market to eat street food in the Philippines. It was amazing to try some of these Famous Filipino foods and I feel like I got addicted to some of them. I am a foreigner in the Philippines, an English Girl travelling solo in the Philippines and Southeast Asia. But currently, I am traveling with my Filipina friend who I met here and who has been introducing me to the different Filipino street food, available at the night market in Bais City, Negros Oriental. Some of the delicacies we were trying include the very famous chicken intestine (isaw), chicken legs, chicken feet, fish ball, kwek-kwek, chicken nuggets, Lumpia, Kikiam and more!
I love the street food markets in the Philippines, as they offer cheap, quick and easy foods. The Filipinos there are also very friendly and kind.
These foods are not available in my country in England, or at least I haven’t seen them there. I think I'm lucky to be here in the Philippines ❤️

You are a foreigner who is not afraid to try anything .I am, just like you not afraid to try any kind of food . When I was in the Navy , every port our ship went to I tried the local dished .
I think it’s great to be open-minded and not be afraid to try new things, that’s how you can discover some of the best things in life, including food and beyond.

Glad you’re not bias ed in Bais City against filipino food.
Hahaha I’m doing my best to never be biased and stay open-minded, even in Bais 😄💛
Hi Ola..❤❤❤
🥰🥰🥰🇵🇭
🇵🇭❤❤
🎉❤
The difference between KWEK-KWEK is that the DUCK EGGS is a KWEK-KWEK and the small eggs which is QUAIL EGG is TOKNENENG i noticed that many Filipino are not telling the difference between Quail eggs and Duck Eggs
Ah that's great to know, I actually asked them what kind of egg it was and they said it was a chicken egg, not a duck egg. But now I'm thinking maybe it was a quail egg haha
Fun fact: Lumpiang shanghai is rated the second best street food in the world by Taste Atlas , actually a London based that ranks global food the counterpart of Conde Nast for food, and other Filioino dishes also made to the list, glad that you are not fuzzy
Thank you for letting me know. It doesn’t surprise me that others rate it very high, I get a chicken or vegetable lumpia pretty much every time I see it at the market because it ALWAYS tastes really nice 🇵🇭😊
have you ever thought why it's called shanghai roll in the first place? he real fact is that lumpia is not a philippinese food, philippinese people are always making false claims.
@@user-uw8yj1xp8x You should take your argument to the people behind Taste Atlas. It was Taste Atlas who declared that the best lumpia in the world is served at the Aristocrat, a chain of restaurants in the Philippines.
@@lamplighter2012 it doesn't matter where you take the argument to, the fact remains that philippinese people are known for making false claims. canton noodles originated from china not philippines and karaoke was invented by a japanese not by a philippinese.
@@user-uw8yj1xp8x False claims, huh? Don't tell me that disinformation and fakery is unheard of in other countries. In fact, fake news is said to have been "invented" somewhere in Europe.
👩💼😊🌹💕

It's not a chicken kidney but a gizard.
Thank you for letting me know, we didn't know 😊
Low income = low quality of street food.
It was cheap but also very tasty 😊
My goodness, I’m Filipino and just want to say your Filipino friend showing you food is monkey like
What is that supposed to even mean?
