Just last year, I always laughed at someone who have anxiety until I experienced it. Anxiety is no joke at all. It weakens you emotionally, mentally and physically. Sad thing you can't just tell yourself to "not worry"
I’m not judging, but what was funny to you about it? just curious. i’m glad you understand the condition now
Same thing I hated one of my friends cause they wouldn’t stop talking about having it now that I experienced it I honestly commend them cause they seemed more happier than I am now

I remember several years ago I suffered from severe depression and mental disorder. I was addicted to illicit pills, alcohol, and smoking until I was recommended for psilocybin mushroom treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly I'm 8 years clean now. It's quite fascinating how effective they are against anxiety and depression.
To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.
Can you help me with a reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. It is very hard to get a reliable source here in New Zealand. Really need!
Yes, Sporeville. I had the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addiction... Mushrooms definitely made a huge difference to why I'm clean today.
I wish they were readily available in my place.
Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He's 59 & has many mental health issues plus probably CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone.
He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD knows if it is common for an obsession with violence.
Is he on Instagram?

I get so scared of everything, I get scared about some of the most random things, a week ago I had a panic attack at like 12 am because I thought I had heart disease, because my wrist pulse wasent super strong or whatever, I just get so worked up, so anxious, so worried, so stressed about some of the most simplistic things and situations that can be easily solved, I don’t get a BREAK.
Never can I just sit and say to myself, “none of this is true, your fine, go back to what you were doing”, without doubting my entire life existence.
A few years ago I thought I had HIV ... it was just embedded in my head and my therapist had go with me to get tested. My anxiety gets crazy too
i had an extremely small scratch from an incident that involves an unvaccinated dog at my workplace , im currently very anxious and i have panic attacks thinking that I'll die soon because of rabies, I've done all medication but not the vaccination, so im really scared. I've consulted 2 doctors both said that its a very small wound and that i shouldnt worry about it. Ever since then i could never get rid off the thought that I'll be dying and whats gonna happen to my loved ones...
Ive tried something like that. I was once lying on my stomach with my hand placed where my heart would be. Suddenly i could no longer feel my heart beat. My imidiate thought was "if it aint beating, i cant be alive". That sparked the worst panic attack i ever had. Right agter thinking that, my body went into full panic. I was burning up, it literally felt like i was on fire. And i was so sure that i was about to die. And then it just let go of me. Just like that. Been afraid of my thoughts ever since. I have no idea what could trigger it. So i have no chance of being prepared. It happend when i was 19 years old, im going on 30 now. I have kids that already pay enough for me having anxiety, i wouldnt know what to do, if i had an attack while being around them. I hate living like this..
I was that bad i was in hospital every week even benzos couldnt fix me. Panic disorder is no joke. I use to feel it would be easier dead
Anxiety attacks are the worst. I get anxious over the tiniest thing. I don't know how it is for others. But whenever I have an attack my legs get so weak and uncomfortable, it gets so hard to breathe and feel extremely nauseated. I often tell myself how little and insignificant it was and that I should not worry. But it's still so hard to keep up sometimes.
Your not the only one. When i get it i think of happy thoughts like a very good event that happened in your life.
I totally get the legs thing. I hyperventilate so hard my legs go completely numb bc lack of oxygen.
Did you get away with anxiety?
I just get extremely dizzy and tremble and gasp for air. It's the worst-
Dis u get heavy sweat at that time
It's an everyday struggle for me. 😭 I've been suffering from it for years now. I was on the verge of a panic attack today but I managed.
How?

my teacher told us to memorize something and recite it in front of our class. It was my turn already I memorized it all but I when I was in the front I forgot it all and I was having a harf time to breath, my heart beat so fast and I can't control my mind. My mind thinks that all my classmates are judging me. And everytime I talk to a person wether I knew it or not I feel so nervous and I'm thinking what will I gonna answer to them "what if my answer is wrong?" "what if I choose this and people around me doesn't like it?" when I'm in the crowd I feel like this people are looking at me and judging me even my family and friends my dumb mind thinks that these all people are judging me. "I just want to disappear in this world" this is what my mind always think. I'm also obsessed of cleaning my nephew noticed me that and he asked why I'm always cleaning eventho I'm done cleaning in that part. I'm scared in my future
I think the same way .. I overthink everything. When a person looks at me differently or says something even tho it’s a joke I take it seriously and start jumping to conclusions. I hate it. For me it's like when I go around people it feels like people think that I'm ugly or they might laugh at me for doing the wrong thing in public I stay I my room all the time I am always shy around people and in big crowds I just stay in the house that's where it makes me feel safe and secure inside so that's a thing about me🙂

It can be both insecurity and social anxiety. I had both and when my insecurities became less prominent and i start thinking less what other think about me, my anxiety also became more manageable.
Same here
Imma just leave this here:
Not diagnosed but I think I suffer from social anxiety and/or anxiety disorder. The pandemic really brought me to this realisation and made me more aware. Ever since I was a kid I never knew what was wrong with me I was always shy and never spoke out. But for some reason the word “anxiety” has always been stuck in my head way before I knew what it meant. I pick up my phone everyday and go through my contacts but I don’t see 1 person I feel is right to speak to. And I’ve gained a lot of weight recently cause of my sedentary life. But what makes it worse is that everyone I see they’re first comment is about my weight gain and it’s getting a bit too much to handle. I have tried so much to avoid self harm but I just can’t find someone trustworthy enough to speak to. Every time I try to say something it feels like I’m impaired from speaking. I hope I get help someday soon cause I don’t know how much longer I can take all of this.

Okay I was in your place but anxiety is SO TREATABLE! When I got therapist that suits me I felt like I have never feel in my life. That smoothness and beauty of life that I started to experience more and more often I had never experience before. I was shocked - is this how everyone else feel? Also there are medicines, I want to start taking them because I my anxiety started again now. So it will be sad that you take your life when it can be treated so easily.
My friend keeps saying how she has anxiety and that it’s so bad and that it’s worse than mine but she can literally walk out of class in the middle of lesson and not worry about being scolded. I really want to tell her that anxiety is not something that comes and goes but is something that affects my life everyday and it is impossible for me to just stop worrying
The instant cure for anxiety is to understand the fact that there are infinite amount of possible outcomes in this universe and our brain only thinks of a handful . A bad outcome can become the means of a good outcome in the future. Just like that a good outcome can become the means of a bad outcome. For example, you lost your job (bad thing). But then you got a new job which is better ( bad thing led to a good outcome.) It's an endless cycle. So just go with the flow and don't think about it . 😄 Goodluck.

Dean, How are you now? Doing public speaking courses are useful. Be careful what you feed your mind. Avoid comparing with others, reduce negative social media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed, avoid moving too much and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Never meditate with expectations but with awareness. Don’t fight your thoughts. With practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Observe your breath sensations before sleep, when reading, at work, when making a presentation, etc -----anytime-anywhere. Like me, make this a lifetime habit to have a better life. Best wishes--Counsellor.

I think I used to have anxiety. Always worried about how people thought of me, feeling I’m not as good or as smart as everyone, always had to put on a smile and keep the conversation going. Feeling like everyone else always has way more interesting things to say.
In a way it seems like it’s self inflicted with over thinking over and over till it became a habit in my mind. It was until I listen to motivational speeches, meditation, positive affirmations. For the first year it didn’t seem to make much of a difference, until after I stopped self development. Now a year or two later I realized I’m becoming more of what I wanted to be and I didn’t even notice.
I still have those thoughts but now I learned to not care and embrace it. I really don’t care now and feel sure of myself. “The art of not giving a f@&k” embrace the suck. That’s what worked for me.

Watch alternate nostril breathing meditation videos on Google and do it for 5 to 10 minutes if possible twice a day. You can sit on a chair or on the ground and do it. Inhale-exhale slowly and feel the relaxation flowing through your mind and body. Negative thoughts will reduce. Shyaaam Sir, Mentor. Make meditation a daily habit to enjoy life. Also I suggest to watch Joel Osteen old videos daily.

Took me 3 years to get over SEVERE anxiety. Don’t give up!
Thank you for sharing the positive news!
Had my school farewell some days back and I remember tearing up in tears right there- not because of nostalgia but because of anxiety . Many people might not get it but ANXIETY IS REAL . Everybody's like com'on , face it without even realing what that means to somebody who's actually got to go through . A strong support system , however , really goes a long wayy in getting you your lost self-confidence back . I know because my partner does that for me every single day . Im not over it yet , meeting new people , going to unknown people still makes me feel like dying , makes me avoid leaving my room BUT I know , this will end too; this will pass too . Goin' to carry these lessons life long hehe . 💛

I also went through this but thanks to psychedelic microdosing I'm okay again. He's got guidelines and products to stop this attack and other disorders..
True happiness comes from within but you also to feel within yourself my mind is completely shattered in pieces now😢
For my severe anxiety I was prescribed Xanax and Paxil. It helps a lot but I still have to struggle with going out of home.
Me too … I can’t stay away from home , it gives me panic attacks …would appreciate if you could tell me what helped you…

Yes.

I really feel that I must quit my job, I feel like just about every one around me hates me. I feel trapped, I feel like there is some evil presence trying to harm me and destroy my life and my kids future. I didn't even know what anxiety was. I just thought this I life. I have been dealing with this for years but in the last 3 has got unbearable and really affected my life. I have been drinking for 13 years. Not in a way where I get totally drunk and act inappropriate, my wife has never complained of my drinking but I do drink a lot. And in the last 3 years I have turned to drugs, just marijuana pretty much as soon as it became legal, something I thought I would never do. But with not sleeping and the drinking I thought this would help with those things. I had no idea that it was enxiety. Now I'm having worse problems of not sleeping and anxiety. This whole thing has really affected my health, in the last 3 years I have also just had this thing of escaping into walking and running trails, biking. I have improved my health and look healthier appart that my hair has thinned during this whole time. I have been thinking of quiting my job for quiet some time and think I will but after realizing I have anxiety, something I never even knew what it was. I'm not really even sure what to do. I feel trapped in my life. I just pray that I can give my kids the future I have always planned for.

My anxiety discorder isnt caused by anything. It just exists and make my life complete shit. The only reason im willing to keep living is because the only self control i still have, is the self control telling me how selfish suicide is. I have nothing left in my life that i am able to enjoy, but i guess it doesnt matter. I just keep living for now.

If you have high anxiety like me Do these 3 things it helps me a lot:
1. Your Mind must be rational.
2. Your Breath: Double inhale and exhale slowly.
3. Observe the Person that u feel anxiety from by project ur attention outward. The easy is body language the hardest is their facial expression. Repeat the step 2-3 time.
Been suffering with this since I was about 8 or 9.
For me anxiety doesn’t just stop after the panic attacks. It ruins my relationships with people and I have to pick up after it. I always get them at around January to May for some weird reason since both last year and this year, and it’s usually for stupid reasons. I have to block anything in my head that gives anxiety until it wears down which takes months for it to just shut up. I could literally have a panic attack cause I didn’t do this fun thing as a kid one time.

Don't try medication first, but start with looking at why you are anxious. There are also teas that help, and weed is always an option, tho daily use is not something I'd recommend. If you learn to manage anxiety first, you can learn to manage insomnia better. Stay away from medication, think of it as a last resort.
